amber overlays, new lights

Kdawg came over yestarday and did my amber overlay vinyls for me. they came out great, something I definatley couldn't have done myself. he also showed me the "kdawg drl override", which is simply, covering the light sensor. thanks again mike, i appreciate it.

so without further adue, some pics. sometime this week i'll figure out webshots, and get some more pics up.

You could use silver or black. I'm going with black on my white GA.

^^^^ by the way, those bubbles are going away just like you said they would. every time i go out there, it looks better. it's going to be hot today, so i'll just let them bake in the sun.

here's some pics of the lights for those who care. from left to right: daytime - nothing on; night - just parking lights; night - all lights

And Nokya Hyper whites for the 3157

well GAlover, this question should be permisible, as my DRL's aren't over ridden in a way most are. You see, my ambient light sensor is covered (electrical tape, etc, whatever you could use). hence, the car thinks its night time all the time. now, during the day, i leave my lights on parking lights, that way, the corner of the headlight is lit up. this way, the "safety" aspect of DRL's is still active, but my headlights lives are being saved. Plus, it looks cool as hell in twilight/dawn, especially with the fogs on. then when it becomes nighttime, i just flip the lights back to auto, and voila, instant headlights. you just gotta remember that you don't leave the parking lights on if you get out of the car during the day.

I pulled my DRL Relay.. does the same thing. I haven't had any SVS (yet). I think is easier??? To each his own?
