I found his story to be very lame, the police a joke, and the fact he had to continually point out he was "active military" very retarded. Who fockin cares? Are we now going to throw military people into the "special treatment" category

I work with them and I still say this. The only time they want to use their military card is when it benefits them, all the other times they are bitching about the military.

Sucks for this guy, but he sounds like a ***** to me.

Police are a joke no matter what. When a shop charged me for unauthorized work, and did not follow laws and held my car from me, the police wouldnt do **** but just take a report to take to court.

First off the police are moderators to keep the peace not to be judge and jury. They let the judge judge if it gets that far. I think the military references were to the fact that he is on a set income, set pay scale, low income, set time frame. In 4 yrs as an A/D Marine I only used my "But I'm military" once. Just the fact that an A/D person can afford a stang is a wow, but to afford mods, triple wow.

No one would deserve that treatment, even a r!cer (except Brian Spilner). I think AMP should be reported to the BBB and all the owners credit reports should be tarnished and then burn the place down. Maybe someone picketing the joint would help too.

Sounds like it was a good thing he called the cops, especially since he was there alone. That does suck though, I was ripped off for a few hundred bucks, couldnt imagine losing 1500.

Best thing is probably taking them to court. then the BBB. I personally dont have a problem with him stating hes active duty. You have to work pretty damn hard in the militarty for $1500, trust me i know. I say lets torch the place too.
