not anymore, you can get them at a little over invoice.

$21,995 for this car really makes me want to go to headquarters and laugh in their face

The car isn't that fast, isn't that nice inside....it's a God damn Cavalier replacement at the cost of a Grand Am GT, almost stripped Grand Prix GT!! WTF are these jokers thinking?? You'll be able to buy a leftover GTO for $6-7k more!!!!!

The 2004 SRT-4 starts at $20,995

$21,995-$20,995 = $1,000

BUT, the Cobalt is not just another Neon

please stop with pathetic excuses. You can get a SRT4 for 19,500. And your Cobalt is just another Cavalier fill in. Your implying it is some new revolution that makes it a solid built car with quality materials all around.

Oh I like the car ... I just don't agree with the price considering its target market.

Cobalt was shown earlier this year at several auto shows where it got some admiring remarks from an executive at Toyota, a major competitor.

guess what? Toyota's brass isn't buying this car!!! And on top of that, look at Toyota's lineup, they are the focking "GM" of the asian market. Absolutely ZERO sports cars after they axe the Celica and MR2 soon. It's like asking a lesbian what she finds attractive in men.

I refuse to spend more than $20K for a car without independant rear suspension.

Has anyone actually driven this car yet... or checked it out up close & personal to see if $21,995 really is too much for the SS model?
