Hows that kicking ass? 205HP from a supercharged 4 cylinder is lame...starting at 22k for a freakin glorified crapilier you gotta be kidding me spend another 1-2k and get a wrx much better built car and much faster.

Comon GM you can do better than 205HP from the ecotec

Have the SCd Cobalts been tossed on a dyno yet? Chevrolet is notorious for underrating the horsepower of their cars. Also, look at what happened with the SRT-4. Rated at, what 220 ish from the factory and it's been dyno proved to have more on many occasions.

All of these GM supercharged cars are pretty pathetic if you ask me. Other companies are doing the same thing, like the Mazda(yeah its not GM, but you get the point) Speeds they are turboing engines to 185HP, Why? Why charge a car to 205HP? It doesn't make any sense to me.

On another note, I think GM over estimates alot of things, and about the SRT-4, I think that Dodge under estimates, just my .02 on the matter.

I love GM cars don't get me wrong I will continue to drive them, but I do not thing they are making good choices with anything latetly.

Ok everyone just ignore my rant. I'm just getting really mad about my future options as far as GM vehicles are concerned.

What is this supposed to be, Sports Compact? Please tell me thats not true.

edit: Ok let me get this straight,

Cobalt replaces Cavalier
Solstice replaces Sunfire (I assume)
G6 replaces Grand Am

These cars suck! Am I the only one that thinks that?

Solstice isn't the Sunfire replacement and it may be a cool car. Just not very economical/practical for most and I think that is its only downfall.

As for the $5k difference for the Cobalt....uhhh yeah, you could buy a God damn supercharger kit for $5k or less and have it put on. Isn't buying the car with it suppose to be a cheaper alternative???

I heard they are doing away with the Sunfire, do they have a replacement yet?

I think it is a cool looking car, I wish it was more to the level of the Crossfire (edit: Roadster ofcourse) though.

Not everyone lives near SPAZ.

You can keep bashing the cobalt, but I'll bet the SS Cobalt edges out the Scion in sales.
