Damn GAGT, please help!!!

Ok, here's what happened...

Went to change my spark plugs. Turns out I only bought 5 plugs instead of 6, so I had to drive back and get another one...but drove with only 5 plugs in the engine (threw old ones out). Engine stuttered like hell (duh). Got the plug and put them in. Ever since, I have had a rough idle. Plugs are AC Delco and Bosch plug wires. Weird thing is, the rough idle is only really bad when the A/C is OFF.

Could some kind of build up got in the cylinder without the plug while driving? How do I clean it?

Also stripped another plug and had to force it in.

No codes on OBD though.

I'm really stuck here, please help.

Thanks.

Driving on less than 6 cylinders is bad. Don't know if it will cause permanent damage, but it's still bad.

Stripped spark plug hole is very bad. Depending on if it's cross threaded or not, it might not seal properly and you'll lose compression. Also, if it's stripped enough, it could eventually work its way out. Just hope when you forced it in, that metal shavings didn't drop into the cylinder.

Are you saying you drove with NO SPARK PLUG in the socket? Which means the wire wasnt plugged in either....????

If you did, you are just as bright as my sig.

Now if you had one of the old plugs in still, thats different. But if you left that hole open, it is VERY possible that crap got in your cylinder...and could have scratched the walls.

Baaaaaad. Dont be ****ed at your car, be ****ed at yourself.

What tool can I use to see if the compression is off?

Amazing. This is a cars way of committing suicide. Its not worth living with such a bright owner...

If you felt the plug not going in well, why would you force it? That was incredibly dumb. So was driving without a plug in. Amazing, just amazing. Time to link other forums to this thread...

Ive heard that to fix these problems, it helps to pour sugar in your gas tank and drink cyanide.

Smash your rear window. I'm sure you'll get a piece big enough to use in the door.
