it's in a very deep and dark recess, you'll need a lot of light. Best case scenario is to light a match and drop it in the gas tank to help out.

Awesome, while I'm at it I'll take the oil filter out and start the car, then drive to the toyota dealer with a spark plug removed cause I couldn't get it to fit.

Generally, auto manufacturers keep the fuse box location and what each fuse does in their owners manual. I'd suggest taking a look there to find your answer.

Actually, i looked, but I didn't lift the cover off because I just assumed it was like the GA's and just a relay box. I know our fuses (most of the ones that I blow a lot at least) are on the sides of the dash and the relay is under the hood, so I just assumed that's what the box was. Plus sometimes its easier to just ask, never know when someone owns one and tells you "Replace fuse #19 in the box under the hood and you're gtg."

Yeah, I know there are some under the hood, but my point was that the dimmer control for ours isn't so I didn't think about the Echo being there. I had a Mustang and it had the same set-up, relays and some fuses under the hood, but the ones that I use a lot were under the dash.

If one were to look hard enough one could find the location a fusebox on any car, if not, there is no point to having access to the fusebox in the first place as the one that wasn't clever enough to find the fusebox would likley cause damage to the electrical system.

Uh, my point was its not my car and I only had about 10 min to find it and fix it for the person so I thought I would do some research and find out where the thing was at without having to spend time looking for it.

Instead of searcing the vehicle, you sat and waited at the computer? 10 minutes? How long does it take to find a fusebox anyway?
