well, football is upon us...college and pro!! wwwooo woooo!!

what's your top rated rivalries?? doesnt really have to be the obvious ones, maybe your favorite team has a heated rivalry that the masses doesnt know about??

well...my favorite teams are well known, as is their rivalries

Pro:
1. Raiders vs. Chiefs
2. Browns vs. Steelers
3. Bears vs. Packers

College:
1. OSU vs. Michigan
2. Florida vs. Georgia
3. USC vs. Cal

No actually its CHIEFS and its Chiefs Vs Denver. The Raiders rivalry is still there but sorta died down compared to Raiders.

Chiefs suck this year so enough about that.

I'd go with Broncos vs. Chiefs......Giants vs. Jets.......Dolphins vs. Bills........Cowboys vs. Redskins........Packers vs. Bears......... and now because of Art Modell, Ravens vs. Browns.

In college; Army vs. Navy.......Michigan vs. Notre Dame.......Texas vs. Texas A&M.........any combonation of the big 3 Florida teams; Florida, Florida State, & Miami...........USC vs. UCLA (UCLA may not be up with USC anymore, but the rivalry is a classic).........Colorado vs. Nebraska............. and a few more I can't think of right now.

One more NFL: Raiders vs. Anybody. You either love 'em or you hate 'em....... I for one, am a true blue RaiderHater. (even though I lived in CA all my life until a year and a half ago, I could never stand them.)

id say Pats VS Dolphins but i guess to everyone else thats not a huge rivalry. up here it is tho. a lot of pats fans make the trips to miami. ive done it twice

In my neck of the woods for college its Louisville VS Kentucky. Always a big game, either basketball or football. Doesn't help much that our (Louisville) basketball coach took the Kentucky team to the champions some years back.

UF-FSU is a much bigger rivalry than UF-GA because UF-GA comes down to a c0cktail party and the UF-FSU game comes down to absolute hatred for each other.

In College football, I don't care what anyone says...the greatest rivalry of all time is Ohio State vs. Michigan. WVU vs. Pitt is a classic, then I'd say FSU vs. Florida is there.

As far as pros, which I really don't care as much for as I do for college, but Steelers vs. Browns is probably the one with the most history behind it. Right now, I'd say Raiders vs. Bucs is a good one simply because of the big names that went from one team and went to the other.

It's not div.1, but as far as college rivalries go, Lehigh vs. Lafayette (PA). They've been playing each other since 1884, they've played against each other more times than any two schools in the country.
Of course Mich.-OSU, Mich.-Notre Dame, USC-Cal, Army-Navy.. there are too many.
Pro: Denver vs. KC, Chicago vs. Green Bay, and the game on now.. San Fran vs. Rams (moreso when it was the LA Rams)

Ah, I forgot to add in the high school rivalry. One for the record books... Massillon vs. Canton McKinley. They're both NE Ohio schools. They've played each other for 109 years straight. My girl went to Massillon, and the game is truly a sight to see. I love those Tigers! They had a feature movie made about them. It's the only HS football game that is on the betting line in Vegas. The 110th game is coming up at the end of this month. I know there's someone on here from Mansfield...the T-Y-gers. If you live anywhere around that area, you know about it...

yea man...my old high school sux arse...the good games were when i was in high school (1999-2002), close games..blowouts, games came down to the wire...

but i would like to go to the McKinley/Massillon game, i think it would be sweet!
