Pontiac Solstice...Anyone plan on getting one?

What do you people think of the Solstice thats coming out next fall? It looks sweet i think but kinda pathetic in the options department.

I believe there's an Ecotec s/c out there. Plus that thing is pretty light, good power to weight ratio. It's grown on me, I really like it actually.

It's..... cute?? Kinda looks like the MR2 Spyder from the front.

I remember reading about the s/c too.. n it says the 2.4 will produce "up to" 170hp..

I think it looks hot...the pricetag is appealing to me, might be looking for one in a few years.

As for 170 horsepower being weak...the thing is a 2 seater, it can't weigh too much, so there's gotta be a decent power to weight ratio. Also I recall hearing plans for a s/c version, should make things interesting

Nice lines. Interior looks good. We all know we won't see that same quality interior in the production car.

If I had the money and a 2-seater was in my list of options in life......... I'd absolutely take one.

If this thing doesnt weigh around 2000-2500lbs I give it the

GM must have really detuned this car I remember a C&D article from a while back they were claiming a mid 13 sec car under 20k. Looks good but the engine sucks
