NSX.....New C6....... side by side

I would still take the NSX of course (hence avatar/sig) over the vette just because its more rare to see on the road. But sweet pics i thought. And damn, the NSX is noticeably lower then the vette.

That's another reason why I like imports. Most of the cars that are designed by import car makers hold up to the test of time. The NSX has held up pretty well. It still looks good.

The NSX along with the Supra, and RX-7 were way ahead of their time in terms of their design. The Nissan 300Z could be consider as such too.

Yea but the NSX is due for a change. power for power money wise, obviously the C6 is the better way to go, but like i said the NSX is rare and will out handle the C6 anyday. theirs lots of comparisons.

Outhandle it? Sorry, but I'm gonna have see the numbers posted before I blindly accept that one as fact. Like slalom, braking, accelaration, cornering, etc. Last I heard...even with its newest and updated engine, its still relatively slow as far as outrageously priced sports cars go. I'm not trying to start anything here... I'm actually just curious about the numbers on these 2 cars respectively. If I'm proven wrong then so be it....... but I just didn't think the NSX could ever beat a Vette, especially a new C6.

Did you ever see that video where its Murcialago, Modena, Porshe 911, NSX, M3, Gallardo and maybe another car.... anyways, the NSX out-handles all of them. If you think a Corvette out-handles the NSX... I think you may be wrong.

btw, the vid was posted on here somewhere...

Look at the numbers I posted, the C6 does outhandle the NSX.

Edit: And just wait for the Z06, it'll crank the NSX.

Eh hits this one on the head. NSX is exotic looking and rare, but that's about it. Can't handle as much power as people think and getting that power is outrageously expensive. The Cost/Benefit ratio for $$ to power is only for people who have $$ to throw away.

Beautiful looking car and rare, but not worth the money or performance.

NSX: 13.4 sec @ 106 mph
C6: 12.6 sec @ 115 mph

The 'Vette has a higher top-speed too, 186 mph compared to 175 mph.

Why? C6 looks better, handles better, and is considerably faster. The NSX is pretty exotic, but at this point so is the C6...

^thats your opinion brotha, but others if they have the money, like to buy something a little more rare that you dont see driving everyday. perf vs perf, handling vs handling, i dont give a fcuk, that NSX will get more looks then a C6 ever will.

u guys can all stick to your 400hp plastic interior gm car, but the 90% handbuilt nsx is on my side nomatter how bad it can get spanked by the C6.

But bobbo i do agree, sure its rare and a hott looking car (except they need a new design) its def not worth the money brand new.

The NSX is definately a rarer car. Theres a guy who drives around here with what appears to be an early 90's model with the pop-up lights and stuff..... its black and he's got some gunmetal 18" or 19" wheels with the polished lip on it and it looks ultra badass. But if those numbers Zakk posted are for the Type-R NSX vs. a stock C6....I can't wait 'til the Z06 comes out. I'll betcha anything that its gonna be pushing 12 flat in the 1/4, top speed of damn near 200mph, and a 0-60 time of under 4 seconds since the straight C6 does it in 4.1.

If anyone can tell me of a car that performs this way for the price....I'll go ahead and buy that one instead. (like I can)

The latest Car & Driver just pitted the C6 against the Porsche 911 Carrera and they picked the Vette. I think thats saying quite a bit for all the folks out there who don't think their high 'n' mighty German Porshuh's can be equalled by Mr. America. They even stated the overall quality, fit and finish of the Vette was almost as good now. And when you compare prices....the only people that would pick the Porsche is for that badge on the hood.
As tested Corvette: $54,240
" " Porsche: $76,195

For one Carrera, you could get the Vette, & a base G6 GT as your daily driver.

Didn't the last Z06 run 11.9 in the 1/4 mile and 3.9 seconds 0-60? I'm sure about the 0-60 time, but not the 1/4 time.
