Is Altima SE-R really worth the money? I mean 3.5SE is a good performer itself, but I wouldn't spend 2-3 grand more just for 10 extra HP and some apperance stuff.

give it time, and it will get easier...just start with easy chops and work up from there!

Heh, ya they're pretty rare on here. Troy, we should start doing chop contests on here, and see who joins in. I think it'd be more successful here than how it was on that other site you had me join.

What do you think?

the other site is dead...they don't hold contests anymore!

I got sick of the guy running it whining about not getting votes...

I would be up for a contest, you know that!...but it would have to be started by someone that doesn't chop so nobody feels robbed so to speek!

Ya, there was too much bitching on that site, plus people were voting for the $hittiest chops [that 4x4 integra ] just because it was 'original'.

I think it'd be cool if they added a photoshop section to these forums [been meaning to ask about that for a long time now]. Maybe you and I could be mods of it or something. As far as it being started by someone else, I think if we start it, and have people submit pics to be used for the contest [not submitted by us], then choose from one of those images to use for that contest [and maybe save the others for future contests]. I think that would work out well. I'm not worried about people cheating or whatever... it doesn't mean THAT much to me, It's just something to do for fun [or practice]... can't take it too serious. Plus I think the people on this board are more mature about that as well. I'm going to send the guru's a link to this thread and see what they think.

a good way to go about a contest, is the winner submits the picture for the next contest but is not allowed to participate in that contest...and a picture limit of 1600 x ???? will be the limit for the resolution of the pic!

If we did get a Photoshop section here and started a contest i am sure it would work out!

Ya... Definitely a size limit [at LEAST 1600 x XXXX]. Let's see if they accept this first, and if so we can start a thread to get everyone's opinion on keeping the contest fair. Can't wait ;]

Also if space is an issue, I can host the images on my site.

Bleh...I'm not that great at chopping cars, much better at random stuff (a la Photoshop Phriday, if any of you keep up with Something Awful). I think a Photoshop forum would be great, we could get some photoshop tennis matches going

Definitely, and I don't think it should be only cars. That gets boring pretty fast. Doing chops of other things will bring out more imagination which is what chopping is all about anyway. I've already sent the guru a pm to this link [forgot about the request/feedback section], so we'll see how it goes.

If you guys would like, I could start some sticky threads in "Other Car Makes and Models". Seeing as how I don't do that, I could moderate it and put up some polls so people could vote.

I could manage it by picking a car, then stating what genre the chop should be done in.
