LeBron James/Dwayne Wade...

Possible MVP candidates?

LeBron
2004-05 Statistics / 03-04 stats
PPG 27.3 / 20.9
RPG 8.1 / 5.5
APG 6.0 / 5.9
SPG 2.18 / 1.65
BPG 1.27 / .73
FG% .498 / .417
FT% .774 / .754
3P% .389 / .290
MPG 41.5 / 39.5

He sure fills up the stat sheet for a 19 year old kid. I love watching him play. Lebron James and Dwayne Wade are probably the only 2 reasons why I still watch the NBA.

just as a comparison....Wade's stats:

2004-05 Statistics / 03-04 stats
PPG 25.9 / 16.2
RPG 5.1 / 4.0
APG 7.7 / 4.5
SPG 1.91 / 1.41
BPG 1.55 / .56
FG% .544 / .465
FT% .769 / .747
3P% .500 / .302
MPG 38.5 / 34.9

Simply Amazing. What a difference 1 year makes.

Man, I'm thinking by the title of the thread they got to fighting tonight. Anyway, I told people before the season started do not sleep on Dwayne Wade. I'm also impressed with Lebron, last year I thought he was be nothing but hype, but he has proven that he could be MVP material.

they both are making a point this year... great to see young players do so well. took kobe more time than 1 year to get his stats in mvp range.

Dwayne Wade is pretty sick to watch, I've been following him all year since the Heat is my team, and anytime he touches the ball, you know something electrifying is going to happen. I know Lebron is the same way. It's how Kobe used to be (and still is, to a degree). You're right, it's one of the few reasons to watch the NBA these days.

I'd go with LeBron...with the gas prices the way they are, the fact that he gets another 3 miles to the gallon are key.

thats a tuffy...Lebron and the Cavs have won 9 out of their last 10, which is pretty darn good for the Cavs! But Dwayne Wade got his team to the playoffs last year, without Shaq...and they still had a chance in the Eastern Conference

LB is on fire right now...and Wade's fire has yet to burn out...it will be interesting to see what happens in the Eastern Conference this year, they will no longer be dominated by the West

Which is why Wade >>>>> Bron Bron. Wade is much more of a team oriented player, and makes the people who play around him better. That's something LeBron can't say he does.

Wade has some sick ass moves every game. I keep saying that if he can just improve his jump shot, he's the next Kobe (in all the right ways of course )

I like them both the same. It's VERY hard to try and pick one over the other. They are BOTH great team players. They aren't too "big headed" to give the ball up once and a while....especially when their team needs it. Unlike *cough*Kobe*cough*

Have you even ever watched him play? He drives in the lane 90% of the time and gets layups (some insane ones that makes you wonder how he can do it, but layups nonetheless). His straight up jump shots are not so good. I'd be willing to bet that percentage would be 65% if he never took jump shots.

actually...it's exactly the opposite...Lebron does make his teammates better...he always talks about helping his team out, we dont see it because the Cavs are very consistent...But LB is, he averages 6 assists a game, pretty dang good

if you see him play, it's easy to see that his team feeds off of his energy...it's exciting to watch both Wade and Bron play
