I work at a Saturn dealership in SC and we are putting a vertical door kit on a 2005 Ion Quad Coupe. I will have some pictures up soon.

Nice! How much that run you? I've been waiting to see someone do that to a 99+ too. So far no one's done it yet. I've been thinking about it myself, but too many other things to do first, so someone will probably beat me to it. Can't wait to see the finished product.

airride which kit did you go with. I like the look of the 90 degree doors but how stable are they. Do the door swing a little, also is it a bolt on or weld on kit.. I have a kit that lets me open the door normal then if I want up up and awayyyyy..

I still say lambo doors belong on a lambo. Same with Bmw fenders, and all the other stuff people steal from other cars and use on theirs. But thats life.

So how do these lambo door kits hold up and seal. Id be scared the first time it rains my car would become a giant puddle as im willing to bet you install something like that and kiss your once sealing doors goodbye....

As far as the 99+ with lambo doors mentioned above. Its already been done on a 99 a few times. In fact pictures were posted on here somewhere.

i have the GT Factory hinge (weld on), as far as i know it is the only one out there with 2 hydralic shocks instead of only having 1 on each hinge. They hold up very well and i must say i'm impressed. The kit also does what u say Rosado.....it opens like a regular door (not as wide though) and then u have the option to go up with it lambo style, you can also open the lambo doors full way, half way, basically what ever height u want it to be.

Uhhh... I knew that. I said it's cool someone did it on a '95, and I'd like to see someone do it on a 99+ too.

Someone mentioned that it's already been done on a 99+. If it had I think I would have seen it. I check this website religously and there's no way I would have missed something like that. So unless someone did it and it's just never been posted on this site.... it hasn't been done.
