Belle Tire Experience

Well, we always hear horrier stories on the web forums about how this shop screwed up or the dealer screwed up, so I thought I would post a good experience I had taking my car into belle tire Saturday morning.

I drive roughly 80 miles a day going to and from work on the freeway. Well, recently I've been having problems with the car drifting to the right and a noise coming from the front passenger wheel well at low speeds. The last time I had this issue I had a broken arm control issue, so I was pretty much expecting the worst when I took it in. I dropped the car off at 8am on Saturday morning and went about my business running tasks that have piled up lately. So I get a call around 11am saying the car is all set and that I could come down and get it any time. So I asked the guy, "What the issue was?" He told me that the inspected the entire front suspension and everything from the tierods to the struts checked out fine. He said, "that one of the front tires had a small leak occurring and they rotated the tires, we checked the alignment and it was dead on, the car drives in a straight line."

So I go down around 3PM to get the car and I tell them I was there to pick up an 01 grand am GT. They promptly got the keys for me and the guy said "Your all set". I asked him, "What I owed for their services?", he said, "Nothing". Shocked, I said "Really?". He said, "Get out of here and enjoy your weekend!". I thanked him and was on my way.

Needless to say, I will definately go back to that Belle Tire the next time I need their services. They earned this customers respect and future business!

Thats real cool man. Yeah, I've had pretty good experiences at bell tire too. I got my wheels and tires from the one at rochester rd and long lake.

the belle tire closest to me and aaron is awesome in service too (23 and van dyke).

i blew up an rsa last winter on a curb after hitting a patch of black ice. i took it in and they replaced the tire for $90 and realigned the front suspension for free because it was knocked off when i hit the curb.

cool guys.

yeah i got my wheels from belle tire on rochester road - not the long lake one, but they do alright, i just wish they could fix my vibration when i go like 60+ but overall i'd go there again -- got my rotors and pads done there too actually

I gave up on Belle tire........

when they told me I couldn't put 18x8 077's on my GTP........
and that eagle didn't make a 5/115 bolt pattern

Glad you had good luck though

the belle tire in canton is sweet. I had a slow leak in my tire which i had patched for free. just the other day my tire blew on my way home from school. I had my car towed to belle tire. no one was home at either of my houses so one of the managers drove me to my house to pick up my stock rims, and they put them on for no charge.

Well this thread is turning out like I hoped it would, good stories of companies helping out when they can. It sometimes gets tiring of reading thread after thread of someone getting screwed. Thanks.

I haven't had any recent dealings with Belle Tire...but when I had my Grand Am's, they always hooked me up swapping my tires on/off for free

They told me the exact same thing about my GA... They wanted me to get 17x7 polished 077's 225/45/17's with a 5/114.3 and quoted me $150 more than I ended up paying for chrome 18x8 077's with a 5/115 and 235/40/18's down the street at Gratiot wheel and tire.
Although the manager did tell me that if I found a better price and had it on paper they could probably match it, I never went back because I didn't want to argue about the 115 bolt pattern deal

On a better note, they got me an awesome deal on a set of weld wheels, slicks, tubes and front skinnies for a monza spyder I used to have.

On top of that, they did a drag race alignment on that car for free and turned all 4 rotors for free too when they did the tire swap.

My guess is that they have a lot of flexablilty on what they want to do for you and it probably depends on who's working there as to the kind of deal you can get

you guys gotta know how to work the game of getting rims - first you don't go in at first, u call them on the phone and ask for a price to the package you want.. then you call discount and say, hey can u beat ur competitions price of blah blah and then when they lower it a ton, you call back belle tire and say, hey discount just gave me this, what can u guys do about that. and then u get ur decent or better final price. never go into the store first to buy rims - they jack it up a few hundred cause u are very interested.

yeah Belle Tire has always taken car of me, both in Rochester and in Auburn Hills. I hit a pot hole that Oakland County made and since the guy in Auburn Hills knew my friend he hooked me up with the new rim at the cost my buddy bought them for when he worked there!

I don't mean to answer for him...but considering Ryan doesn't post here much, I will say that...

He lives around the Avon/John R area...and works in Downtown Rochester. I won't disclose where just in case he doesn't want everyone to know hah...but if that Belle Tire is in Downtown (I forgot) that was most likely him.

I don't think I was over there this past weekend. But Nikki is right I am at John R and Avon, and I work in Downtown Rochester. Just keep an eye out for a Silver GTP with the Daytona 500 package on it (hood, spoiler, graphics), also if you see a GP with an HID kit on it, that is me, don't think there is one around here.

Where you at?

I manage the Cingular Wireless store in downtown. And I have an idea where you are at. Yeah the Rochester car show is nice, my dad enters his 1940 Chevy in it every year. If I had time to prep my car and wanted to get up at 6 am to get a decent parking space I would, but for now I will just focus on keep it clean and racing
