I call it, median at 65mph

Well in El Paso TX they don't know what rock salt for the road is, and they also don't know how to block off an accident correctly. I had to sworve to miss a truck that the ploice were already on the scene for and slid a quarter of a mile into a guard rail. Gotta love it!

I'm from NY, I'm just not used to driving on a sheet of ice. They use Salt on the roads there. After the wreck I was trying to drive up this street here and couldn't make it up the hill. It was like 2 inches of ice on the road. I had to walk 2 miles to my friends house. Ba$tards

That sucks about the wreck, are you going to get it fixed? It doesn't look like there is too much damage. It would have been worse. Did the airbag deploy?

Wow, sorry to hear that. I doubt Texas stocks salt like the northern states. And it looks like it wouldn't have mattered, your tires are looking pretty summer only about now.

Man I am sorry to see that. Looks like there should have been some hella frame damage from the twisting under the hood. Let us know how things go with it. Hope you are not too sore from it.

Glad to see your ok. If the frame is twisted then its bye bye GA if it just cosmetic damage they will fix it. Why were you driven in the snow and ice anyway? No down there know's how to drive in thos conditions being that they dont recieve alot of snow/ice. Even In IL when we have gotten some **** ice. You might as well park it. salt only does so much.Is it me or do these car's hold up quit well in Accidents?

I just talked to the local Pontiac collision shop and they said that the frame is bent pretty good and the estament is between $7,000 and $8,000. So I took a '04 SC/T out for a ride. Maybe I'll have one of them in a week or so!

^ Not everybody has bad luck with Ga's.. this is the third in my family and no complaints so far, with either of them. Our 2000 SE has made it to 97k without any major problems other then the normal wear and tear such as tire rotations, oil changes, and such... so I mean.. There are some good ones out there, some people just get struck with bad luck. And yes, we all know they don't hold their value, but some people don't care about that, like me. I'm keeping this car for forever, regardless.

I agree, I work in a body shop, and the ones that we fix come back in a matter of time for something related to the accident.

Since the frame is fu@ked I'm going to try to convince the apraiser to total it out. I don't want all the problems associated with that. Today I went and drove the GAGT SC/T, the Mazda6, Dodge Ram 1500 and a Ford SXT 150. So I am going out and looking, but I know I'll miss my GA if i do get something else. Well lets hope for the best, I talk to the insurence guy tomorrow!!!
