i finally did it!!

i finally got ghost flames, after talking about it for almost 2 years now. i'm sooo excited. they turned out sooooo good. the guy drew the flames free-hand, and its paint, not vinyl. he also fixed the scratches in the center of the hood as well!! i picked her up the sunday before christmas. here are a couple pics... the car is really dirty and i haven't really had a good chance to get more, but it's an idea.

thank you thank you thank you! i couldn't be happier with how they turned out. and it's amazing how different they look night and day, and how different from a first floor window to a second floor window. and when you stand on the side, you can barely notice them on the hood...

couple questions i've gotten thru PM's. i got it done by a guy in NJ. he has been doing painting and pinstriping work for decades. he's real close with my sister's boyfriends family. he charged me $1800, which is a big difference from the $4000+ i'd been quoted at 6-7 other places in the past couple years (which is why i didn't get it done before). i dropped the car off monday night, he masked it up tues. it was too cold on wed and thurs to paint, so he did that friday. and i picked her up sunday. i know, i'm dumb for getting it done right before winter and the snow and all... but who knows what could happen between now and spring/summer. i had the money (didn't need to touch my savings) so i did it now while i could

and i'm so glad i did hehe
