Well now you've got yourself a couple problems I do believe.

I'm not TOTALLY sure, but, are you sure you've got the 3300? Maybe you've got the 3400? Or maybe the 3100?

If you put twin turbos on your car, I'd drive over to your house and congratulate you.

LOL hate to break the news to you but its going to cost ALOT more than 800 bucks for the two turbos. You gotta get intercooler, blow off valves, turbo timer, all kinda cool stuff not to mention rebuilding parts of your engine or your engine goes kaboom. And if you dont have extensive knowledge of an engine and turbo set-ups you wont be able to install it yourself. I dont even know anything about turbos but i know theres alot more to a turbo set up than just the turbo. just fyi.

I dont think the 3300 was build strudy enough to handle 13-16lbs of boost.
Not to mention your three speed auto would Fry up real nice with that much TQ.

Have fun trying though

A turbo involves ALOT of work and time.
There is also the fuel management you have to worry about and many many other varibiles and another thing even if you do this start with one at a time you don't need two. One t3 will be plenty!

13-16lbs will certainly not work. You will blow the bottomend if not the top first... A lot of work is needed as you know. But I would start with one T3, and run the boost a 5psi, stepping up to 8psi MAX on the stock internals. You will see big problems for the tranny and you will likely toast that in short time depending on mileage.

If you gots the conections then you may be set... but you are still looking at a few grand.

T3 = $400 ... What else???
Forged Rods and Crank ... 1,$$$
FMU ... 5$$
I/C ... 1,$$$
Reinforced Slushbox/Stick ... 1,$$$

*Can't cheap it on all the right parts, and you will need to pay for a unique tranny reinforcement... But it would be awesome to have done.

JOUT

my .02 cents are gonna be going into the space available. i dont think that the 3300 will have enough space to fit a twin turbo set-up. not only do you have to worry about the turbo timer, boost controller, bov, headers, wastegate, etc. but tubing is going to be another part of the set-up. you gotta go look around and see what is available. i was talking to a local shop that have done 2.4L custom turbo set-ups. they say that the piping can also get pricey as well. i dont think all that tubing will fit unless you fit a really clever way to postion them around the engine. maybe run no hood? yet, i do not doubt you at all. i believe anything is possible. good luck.

Hey I got an idea? If you want a faster car, why not get rid of your Grand Am and buy something more suitable for a twin turbo setup?
