Garcia released from the Browns

Jeff Garcia has just been released from the Browns. I think the Lions should pick him up, since he would Marriuci's West Coast Offense. But, that's just my opinion.

i think no one should pick him up, but QBs are in high demand, look for bledsoe to be on the move possibly as well

I swear to God, if Jeff Garcia goes to Detroit, I'm going to have you banned!

Harrington deserves one more year. He hasn't had a full year, let alone a good part of a season, with a full squad to his using. He's barely had an inclining of a running game, and he finally has some worthy receivers now, barring they don't get hurt 4 weeks into training camp.

But...if he doesn't do it up good this year, I say part ways.

Although, nothing will really ever change with the Lions until the Fords dump the team. They don't care about winning, they just use it for advertisement.

He absolutely made his fair share of mistakes, but the defense sucks. The receivers were banged up the entire year. The offensive line is worse than average, and the running back corp has just started to come around again (hopefully last year wasn't a fluke), even though Kevin Jones was hurt for a period of time this year.

Like I said, if the receivers stay healthy, and the line gets half-way decent, and the defense doesn't absolutely blow...and he still does poor, then yes, he needs to go. Don't get me wrong, I'm not on his bandwagon...but I just don't see how replacing the Harrington solves anything right now.

All I'm saying is Garcia would fit Marriuci's system way better than Harrington, Garcia's better at the West Coast Offense, I'd say make Harrington a second string QB. Hey, you gotta start improving the team somehow. Harrington isn't the sole reason of the Lions being the team that they are, but you have to admit that he one of the big reasons.

yeah if you call garcia having a QB i feel sorry for the browns even more, his backup's backup was better, forget his name.

alexander will stay in seatle i think, dunno where edge will go, my guess is he wont stay in indy, and shouldnt

surtain is the big name out there... the pats will probably need a DB after law wont restructure his contract (like he shouldnt) in a couple months, but im sure he costs too much
who else needs DBs really bad? besides teams like arizona, 49ers, browns, ect who need 1 of everything

Harringtons gotta go, i was with him for the first couple seasons but he never showed up. Look at his receivers. All amazing WR's but Harrington cannot throw downfield accurately at all. We need a QB who can air it out for Williams, Rogers (healthy hopefully), Streets, and Hakim.
