Cool 2002 GTP is in the Pontiac family

I convinced Amanda to stop and look at a 2002 Grand Prix GTP 40th Anniversary Edition yesterday at a local dealership. We ended up test driving it and she fell in love with it. It pulls like a mofo. Can't wait to begin the modding, already spent a good deal of time on PFYC.com showing her what she is getting.

Here are some pics from the dealership, will get better ones after we pick her up on Friday.

Those are stock. It's apart of the 40th Ann appearance package. They are not stick on's, they are part of the hood,

The scoops are actually 'Heat Extractors(vents)'. I believe they are partially functional.

Nice, very nice. Everyone is either getting a GTP or GTO these days... at least they're still in the family tho. Can't wait to see where this one heads with mods. Good luck!

Why take a buzzy 4 cylinder over a supercharged 3800?

They are functional, I have the same hood. But the hole that lets the heat out is not very big, but hey every little bit helps

The exhaust tips that came on that car and the Daytona's are much beter looking than the usual ones IMO. The spoiler is another story though....

Thanks for all the compliments. I can't wait until Friday when I get to go pick it up. I might even get it Thursday night, it just depends.

Yea, the spoiler is probably my least favorite thing about the car and I might try to find a stock one to replace it (I prefer the stock ones), but for now I'll leave it alone. Matt thinks that it looks okay and it's not like it's driving me crazy, but it's not my most favorite thing about the car.

EDIT: Gah, I didn't realize that Matt didn't sign out. This is Amanda.
