F/S: Pro-M, Calibrated for Cold Air, Mass Air Flow Sensor!! - Updated!

I will be taking this off tomorrow sometime and will get picks up then. I bought this from "loadalero" on here a couple months ago. He had it for a few months also. But it is still works and looks perfect and the only thing "wrong" with it is that the pro-m sticker is starting to rubb off . I am selling it because I will be getting the DHP sometime in the future and just need the extra money right now. Combined with a CAI, TB, (and or any UIM/LIM ports) this is an excellent mod. It really gives you back the lower end torque lost from the exhausts like the SLP (there have been many people on here that have praised it!) Brand new these are 250 bucks plus shipping. It was purchased for a 2000 Alero and calibrated for cold air. However, it worked in my 2000 Grand Am just fine (I mean its the same engine, come on!) The only problem that arose is that it sometimes threw a too rich code, but anyone with more mods then me (which is plenty of you) will be running fairly lean anyways and it shouldn't be a problem. My gas mileage was not hardly any worse either. Still got around 24/25 on the highway and 18-20 in town. Bottomline is that I would like to get as close to 155 as possible (that includes shipping). Shoot me some offers and thanks!!

STILL NOT SOLD as of 2/28/05!!

Yeah, that's why I was wondering who in the crap would offer $180 for one that's been through two users already. You can get a Pro-M that is cold air calibrated and made out of billet aluminum for $215. Oh, and there's free shipping, too...

Alright, well at pro-flow.com it is still 249 bucks on sale for them and it says the retail is 449. Thats the only place I had seen it listed for sale at and that is where I was basing my price on! I certainly was not trying to screw anyone. I have never looked on jdsperformance before, but yes it is cheaper on there as I JUST looked once you posted the link. Anyways, the sale is pending.

I think the DHP pretty much makes the Pro-M obsolete

Nah, man, I wasn't trying to say you were screwing anyone nor was I trying to sh*t on your sale. I was just stating that I really can't believe someone would offer $180 for it when it's gone through two owners and they could get a brand new one for $215. I might actually look into getting one myself. How did this thing work for you? Do you think it was was worth the money?

Its cool I knew you weren't. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that. I honestly had only lookat at that pro-flow.com and never had been to that jdsperformance.

I think it would be worth the money more if you had worked alot of improving the efficiency of the air flow into your manifold (intake) and such. That way the extra air that is coming through with the tuned MAF will actually enter your engine bay and make a larger difference in the initial torque. There are many people on here that swear by them and it did make a difference on the initial acceleration. I just think it would be better with like the bigger TB, some porting, and having the CAI. But yeah for spending around 150 bucks yeah it would be worth it. At 215 bucks, I'm not so sure though! By the way ITS NOT SOLD YET (the other guy has not replied for a couple days now), so if anyone wants to throw an offer, but look at my orginal edited post above!. I realize its been through 2 owners, buts it also been through 2 GAGT enthusiasts that have taken care of it and it still works perfect. I at least want to get around the ballpark of 150 for it. Thats 30 bucks LESS then I paid.

To some questions earlier, yeah you for sure can't have the Pro-M MAF and the DHP pcm re-program. Its redundant and someone on this board has used to the term "blow up" before when talking about combining them.
