FS: 2002 Grand Am GT Coupe *Tons of new pics!*

I still got the 2002 Grand Am and it's sitting parked in my parent's driveway. It's my car, but it's in their name. They don't want the payments of $456 a month anymore. The loan is thru GMAC @ 0% interest. It was a 60 month loan and we're half way through it. The payoff is about $10,000 now.
I know...I financed $28,000 for a Grand Am....long story....traded in a 2002 Dodge Dakota lease truck and lost about $5,500 on that and that got rolled over....just a pile of debt. Yeah I know...it sucks and it's funny at the same time.....

BUT back to the main part...the car.
It's a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT (2 Door) Coupe
-Galaxy Silver Metallic
-Grey interior
-30,061 miles on it (20,000 miles of it was highway)
-It's got everything a GT has....3.4 V-6, Auto, power locks, power windows, cruise, keyless entry, & Monsoon CD/Cassette.
-Biggest additions are: LEATHER & SUNROOF.

-Back 3 windows have limo tint on them from Ziebart with a lifetime warranty.
-Just got new front brakes last summer (August of '04--probably 1,000 miles on them). Bosch metallic brake pads & new Rotors. That costs $120.
-JUST got (beginning of February 2005) NEW Yokohama YK-420 (all season) tires all the way around (4) with about 200 miles on them from Discount Tire. The warranty is for 60,000 miles on them. That cost $400.
-JUST got 4 NEW Chrometech wheels from the dealer (replaced under warranty in the beginning of February of 2005) so they are MINT condition. They have been balanced with the sticky weights (no metal weights on the outside of rim) and I also added McGard Wheel locks so they wouldn't get stolen and new chrome lug nuts and chrome valve stems. So they look awesome!
-Added a stock 30th Anniversary (Grand Am) muffler (with the polished tips) in December of 2004.
-Has a K&N drop-in air filter

No major or minor problems at all with this car. This is a one owner car (me) and I have all the documentation for ALL the work that has been done. Just a couple little things have been done or fixed, because I always want everything perfect.
Oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. There haven't been any engine or transmission problems at all.
The car is all stock.
The car drives awesome! Never abused-- NEVER been to the track or auto x-ing or anything.
The windshield has NO cracks or chips in it.
The interior is mint! The dash/doors/trim panels are all clean with no scrapes or marks. The carpet is spotless. The factory floor mats haven't ever been used--they've been covered up by rubber floor mats.
NO rips or tears or holes in the seats or stains anywhere.
The back seat looks brand new (no one sits back there). Trunk is super clean.
NEVER smoked in.
There is NO damage to the car at all. NO scrapes or scratches at all. Never been hit or in an accident either. Been down a dirt road maybe 3 times in it's whole life!
The paint has very very very few flaws....but seriously nothing major at all or noticeable unless I could point it out. I've hand waxed the car like 12 times and I notice any little detail and know the car VERY well.

The car has NEVER been through a car wash. I've always hand washed it. It was paint sealed when I bought it from the dealer as well.

I drove the car like 20,000 miles the first year I had it. Then it was parked in the driveway for pretty much a good majority of the next couple years.

I've taken GREAT care of this car. The parents want to sell it, not me. I told them I'd sell it though since it was my car and I know everything about it. I knew I'd have the car a long time and that is why I've taken great care of it and this really is a CLEAN car--inside & out. Seeing is believing!

Not looking for profit obviously...just need to sell it. I know they're taking a loss, as do they. They just wanna sell it though instead of it just sitting in the driveway and no one driving it.
This car is 99% mint condition!

Located in Southeast Michigan.
Looking for $8,000 OBO

PM or Email me with any questions.

***Feel free to come look at it....it's truly 100% clean & a beauty!***

Not in a hurry to sell it (it's not going anywhere). Just trying to get word out and get some interest in it. Tell anybody who might be interested, please!

OH yeah...
The car was purchased brand new on August 30, 2002 from Lafontaine Pontiac/Cadillac/GMC in Highland, Michigan.

So there is 7,000 miles & a little less than 6 months left on the Factory 3 year/36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

No bites on the car so far, actually.

It'll probably end up on ebay in the spring.
Just trying to see if anyone is possibly interested from here though first

I just paid $12K for our 2002 GATA Sedan w/ 11, 457 on it. That did include an additional 24 Month / 30 Thousand Mile Warranty.

This is a really good price. Especially w/ the leather. Oh how I love leather :-)

Keep on bumpin'

Dude, I am not being an ass, but considering you "really" need to sell it (which is a whole 'nother situation there that shouldn't happen)...let me tell you to take other measures. The car will not...I repeat, WILL NOT...sell on this board. Start hitting up local areas where people park cars on the weekend for high visibility to sell (up in the city near where I live many people on the weekends park them at the bank on Main St where a lot of traffic is). i wouldn't bother with Autotrader or that stuff because there are a million on there already. Perhaps put it near a local high school, or put flyers up at the high school. Maybe a teenager will see it as a nice car for their age at that price. I sure as hell wish I could have found cars for $8k back when I was 16 that looked/performed like a late model GAGT

too many people using this board to sell their cars. Use the damn dealerships and private sales in trader papers....you might not get as much but seriously, move on. 95% of the people on this already own a GA and the ones that dont, used to own one.

Hey I totally understand

But you never know...someone off here might know someone looking for a GAGT...so it doesn't hurt, plus it's free

I'm not really in a hurry to sell it, just something I gotta do this summer and figured I'd try and get some word out on here
