Eibach pics - Before and After

Since I have heard some complaints about Eibachs not dropping the rear much, I thought I would post some pics here. I have 4 pics. I will describe each picture from left to right.

1 - stock springs
2 - Eibachs after about 1 month(I heard it only takes about 2 weeks for springs to settle)
3 - Eibachs and 2 12" subs in the trunk(They are about 70 lbs at least)
4 - I drove around with subs for about a month and this is the pic after I took the subs out.

I think you can notice subs dropped the rear a little bit. Obviously front end dropped itself more because it's heavier than the rear.

Ok, if you don't think subs did anything, I hope you can tell by looking at my stock picture.

Ride is much stiffer and handling is so much better compared to stock, but the ride is really rough and you can feel the bumps, but the cornering and handleing makes up for it.

AznGA what struts do you have with the Eibachs, it seams yours sits a little high yet.
This is my Eibachs with KYB Gen2 struts with only a spare tire in the trunk. I do have pictures linked but for some reason they are not showing, hrmmm.
Before Eibachs

After Eibachs

When I look at your car under "My Registry" it looks slightly lower there.....that looks pretty good. But these pics above dont look lowered.

I think it's an optical illusion. Since you can't tell the wheel well from the tire it makes it extremely hard to tell the difference.

Yeah, you're right. Tough pics to tell from.

I can tell a difference. Of course I got stock springs. Eibachs drop it just enough and not to far IMO. Its the harsh ride I can't take.

Well I know I can't wait to get my Eibachs on. I am used to the rough ride... my husband's Silverado rides rough, sure it can't be worse than that.

I agree with Mel (GAChick), Eibach's are a great performance AND appearance mod. I've had my Eibach's for 2 years (I think?) and the handling and cornering improved greatly. It drops ya, but not a MAJOR difference. Having 18's now, I'm glad I didn't go with springs that lowered me any more.

Oh, in the first pic, those tires are stock RSA's, which bulge out a lot. I got Falken tires after that, which have flat sidewalls. I guess what kind of tires and wheels you have makes difference. The drop is not much for anyone to say "Hey, that car is lowered.", but the handling is great.
