Washington is in a tougher conference, they beat Arizona twice, oklahoma, alabama, and Gonzaga all once. They also have a #3 RPI and #9 SOS. Id say they DESERVE the #1 seed.

When Louisville plays in a REAL conference next year(aka the big east) then we shall see how "good" everyone thinks they are.

You don't get props for beating a team that shouldn't have been given a 1 seed. The Big East entered the tournament with 6 teams, 5 of which were ranked. To me, that says that the Big East is a bunch of choke artists. That doesn't mean that they aren't any good. Plus, Louiseville still has WV before than can even think about the title...

When will we get respect?? I have a feeling that even if we win the whole thing, people will still say, "Well Illinois/Arizona didn't play their best game, and the refs won the game for Louisville against NC, and Red**** had an off night against UofL, and Utah has only one big man so they aren't that great." Quit with the excuses. We are a very good team, we've only lost one game since Feb. 9th, guess who's the only other team that can say that??? Yeah, Illinois. Complain all you want about Washington being over-rated or WTF ever, we went in favored by 1 point and won by 14. We beat GA tech, a team lots of people were thinking would make a run and the defending runner-ups. We are a threat for the championship no matter what anyone else says. We've proven you wrong thusfar, and it will continue that way.

I've spent 1 1/2 yrs at both Virginia Tech and Pitt. I know a little too much about the Big East, I'd imagine.


Don't start that GT garbage. Those guys were 19-11. Playing with Elders or not, they were streaky at best. Poor Luke looked like he was a tree in a hurricane trying to stand up to the big boys... I still like GT, though.

I just called my friend up at school to see if he was watching the game right now (I am at home in Maryland) He said I missed a lot of crazy stuff after the Texas Tech win. They said in the paper that there were over 50 fires that night. And he was actually at a bon fire where they flipped some girls pontiac sunfire over, and it went up in flames in the fire.. crazzzzzzy man. I can't imagine whats gonna happen if they beat louisville today (so far so good )
