just tuned in, forgot it was one. doesnt look like i've missed to great of a game. i know it is 6-1 bottom of the 8th and freezing cold there by now but why are there so many empty seats right now. People were paying an arm and leg for those tix, if I was there I'd be staying until the post game is over and get my moneys worth.

and yes raze, bush league... definition: bush league i consider most strictly offensive players bush league. i could name a few on both teams, but not moving out of the way of a pitch is something that has always and always will bother me, i know you do your best to get on base, and i dont condemn it at all. i just will never think kindly of it

ugly loss for my team, the yanks look good again i think jorge will have trouble catching randy as the year goes on.

every loss sucks... but you know what, its baseball season and that still puts a smile on my face

My Cubs open up today!! Thank god its in Arizona so the game starts at 5 and I'm done by class then so I don't have to skip.

On another note - who's team have their own version of the Lance Armstrong bracelets? Even the Cubs are putting one out that say 'BELIEVE' . I thought that craze was finally starting to die down, guess I was wrong there.

Maybe your little league coach brain washed you, but "taking one for the team" doesn't always mean hooking up with a fat bitch. If you must use your body to become another runner on base, then why not? It's not cheap. Instead, it's unselfish that he took a hit instead of trying to jerk the ball out of the park. If the pitcher doesn't like it, then maybe he shouldn't try to brush him off the plate.

the second one was fine, no way he could have moved out of the way. but the first one he just leaned his elbow right into it. its just something i would never do. like i said i dont blame him at all. i just dont like it thats all

Yes. I was about to buy tickets online but then I saw the games were at 1! I don't get off work until 330 so I can't watch the remainder of the series.

You're probably right about Johnson not winning 15 games. He'll win 18-20. He would have won 20 games last year if his team had some offense. This year, he doesn't have to pitch like the Randy Johnson of the past. The Yankees are a run producing team from top to bottom.
