New 2 the block

Finally, I found a family I have been looking for a NICE GA site for a while. Well my name is Jenn, Im from IL. I got my 05 Grand Am Se about a month ago. Nothing major done to it yet. It's my first Pontiac, I had a 01 Cavalier before. I have longed for a GA and now I have one. So far I am proud to be a part of the Pontiac Family. No pics of my car yet, but it's silver nothing fancy, I call her the "Gray Ghost".
I feel like Im Home

Welcome. Where in IL are you from? I used to live there. Are you sure yours is 05 SE? Pontiac only makes 05 GT's.

Mel's away from the site for the weekend. We shouldn't allow chicks to join when Mel is not readily available.

And yeah, like Yun said, there are no '05 SEs and no sedans of any kind, just GT coupes.

Nope, 2005 SE's were built, just not sold to the public, I drove around in an 05 SE sedan all last summer as a rental car. Now that they've gotten miles on 'em, the rental companies may be starting to sell them off.

Welcome just the same!

Are you sure yours is 05 SE? Pontiac only makes 05 GT's.
Sorry it took me so long to get back. Thanx for the warm welcome. Yes, Im sure it's a 2005, I hope the VIN # doesn't lie. As I was told Pontiac is phasin' out the GA, 05' is suppose to be the last year for GA's. The G6 is suppose to take place of the GA. My car had about 5000 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. Who cares if it was a rental. I doubt very seriously you know where your car was before you purchased it, unless it had 0 miles on it. Anywho.......

Thanx to everybody who gave me a warm welcome, and thanx to those who know for sure that my car is a 04'

Toodles

Before you get upset about it, look at the pontiac website. It says that you can only get an 05 GT 2 door coupe. AznGA knew what he was talking about. I was unaware of the rental car thing, so that must be it. Most people can easily tell where their car came from. Ever heard of carfax?

Also, welcome to the site

David
