I think they are ugly and a waste of money. So do many others, that's why they killed the contract and aren't going to make the next one. Front end looks focking retarded that long. I'll take an AMG SL65 before that.

i agree for the most part, i dont think they are the ugliest i have ever seen, but i sure don't think they are anywhere worth the money

Silver and black are the only two colors for this model year. Don't know what the next model year will bring. Beautiful vehicle.

I do recall seeing something about another Mercedes/Mclaren project with pictures of the vehicle some months back.

Answered my own question. In 06, here are 2 of the 11 new exteriors for the SLR. Metallic blue and some kind of dark green. Who said the contract was killed? Looks to me that is false.
