My HID Projectors

Well, I guess I have no reason to be jealous of others who have HID's anymore. I've been working on this project for a while now, and I am finally finished after a lot of measuring, thinking, planning, swearing, and time. Anyways, here's the set up:
Ballasts = Hella Gen 3
Projectors = Valeo H7's
Capsules = Phillips 4300k
Anyways, who cares about words on a page and lets see some pics!!

well, thats all i've got for now. I'm gonna go wash the car, then i'll take some more pics and add some night pics

Hella Angel Eyes are driving lights, not fog lights. They have 55 watt bulbs and a clear lens. Yes, they are bright especially when people hook them up to the fog light circuit. In that case you have high beams on all the time.

In the pics the fogs aren't on, its just the angel eyes. I didn't do anything to them yet, but i do have some better LEDs here I might swap in some time. I got more closeup pics coming in an hour or so if the rain holds off.

I forgot to in the first post, but i'd like to give a shout out to SC/TGrandAm and RBA007 for their help.

these really don't do the lights any justice, its A LOT better in person.

thanks for the complements guys.
kyle - what can i say, i love meguires products!!
the price so far is right around 800 dollars... so it's not too bad.
The light output is truly amazing... if anybody has a hard time seeing in this car, they have some serious problems. and from the oncoming way i think it looks awesome. its got that nice agressive HID look. I just gotta say damn, it feels good. it wasn't too bad, and i would have been done a while ago, but i had a long battle (which i lost) with butyl rubber glue.

pyromaniac - i really wouldn't mind making more, the only problem is that to get them aimed right, they have to be in the car, and it would just be a pain in the ass to take mine out all the time, and have an undrivable car. plus, if i'd make one, there'd probably be lots more who would want them too. who knows though, maybe if the price is right. just keep in mind that price tag though, around 800 for just materials... and you know labor for this wouldn't be cheap. HIDTech (another route you could take) charges 300 for labor.

where did you get the projectors from, and what did you use to put around them?

Yayyy i'm number 3!!! woohoo!!

The projectors/ballasts are from HIDtech. I had a metal shop make me custom shroud out of stainless steel, then i polished it up. matches the other chrome perfectly.

NewMayHi - I don't know where you see yellow... i don't think the pics are that far off from the true color, but in person they are a bluish white color, no yellow at all. They will eventually change color (color shifting) after around 100 hours to a bluer color iirc. They should be more on the white side compared to your capsules, you have something around 8000k don't you?

and raze - there shouldn't be any problem with oncoming traffic because i used projectors, this is the same setup that comes in some Audi's (A4's i believe). It's when people just put an HID setup into stock reflector housings that creates a bad glare for oncoming traffic. I haven't been flashed a single time yet except when i left my fog lights on.
