Iowa Greet-Grill-n-Eat Meet :)

Well Yun (aznga)and I would like to throw a mini-meet together here in Iowa.

Who/What: Grand Am Enthusiasts getting together to BBQ and chill, maybe bars later that night (even if I cant go)
When: July 16th (Saturday)
Starts at 4pm
Food at 6pm
Chill until sundown
Bars/Drinking Later maybe
Where: Looking to go to a forest preserve/park here in Ames, but I have to make sure it is ok to grill there first. Otherwise looking around DesMoines.

If you are interested in coming, please post up. We are also asking that anyone who WILL DEFINATELY come to bring an item, like bring a few hot dogs or hamburgers, etc. I dont think this will be very big, so it may be a bring your own grill your own sort of thing as well, we just want to get some people together, and have some fun.

Last that I knew a few KCers and MNers wanted to come down for some sort of Iowa getogether, so If you would like a different day or something, that is easily changed. We are just looking for some people to come and have a good time. Please add input, than you!

the 16th was looking good until you changed the date now. around the 23rd or 25th i believe is when all us chicago peeps will be going up to wisconsin for a meet. At least thats the word on the street. so i wont be able to make then. Keep me posted on the official date, and i will take into consideration.

The point of this thing is to have our own Iowa Grand Am club. We do have enough cars, but we are just having hard time to get everyone together.

i wasnt being a smart ass for once. i know money is tight for some people, so i didnt know if thats why you were having a meet local.

like i said, im available most of the weekends if you let me know ahead of time, so let me know the date and i will letcha know if im in or not.
