Talking New tires/rims!!! Pics inside!!

Before anything.. THE CHROME TRIM AND THE FENDER STRIPES ARE COMING OFF!! so if anybody says a damn thing about that I'll run u over. Also, I don't wanna hear crap about the front license plate either.

18x8 Konig Unknowns wrapped in 235/40/18 Falken Ziex 512s.. these were on backorder from the Konig factory for 1-3 months.. but I got a phone call about a week after I placed the order that they came in n were being shipped. They arrived at my parent's house last Thurs, slapped em on Sat nite, n only had time to get a few day shots, but def had some fun tonite.

They're 114.3, so I am using hub rings [they're aluminum], n there is absolutely no shake or anything -- totally smooth ride. I've already driven ~120 miles on em. So far.. absolutely lovin the tires [thx Seth], especially on/offramps. I have a sway bar in my trunk that is goin on asap!!

Here are some pics, but the rest can be found at [some are pretty huge in the 2nd half] www.fotki.com/grandamchick/konigs/ the better pics are in the second half.. lemme know what ya'll think!!

My old rims are still for sale, n I'm lookin to get $300, if anybody is interested: 17x7.5 Quantum-Tek S10 rims

n here's the tread pattern:

I wouldnt put the chrome trim on my ride, but really I like your car the way it is, with the stripes and chrome. Stands out from the pack and looks damn sharp. Not a fan of the borla decal, or the ventvisors, but everything else looks solid. Nice rims!

Looks good, looking better all the time.

Yeah the fender stripes/chrome trim pieces arent liked that well agreed but like what Brad said its what makes your car unique to you and sets it seperate from the other GA's on the site. If one of the veterans say chrome trim the first thing we think of is Mel so thats one way to look at it....

Very nice! I think the stripes and trim look alright, it does make your car unique. But im not a huge fan on those vent visors, I think they were made for trucks and thats where they should stay not on cars. But overall car looks nice!

It sounds better than any other muffler/exhaust u could get for the 4cyl.. n looks tons better too. It's pretty deep, very soft at idle, but growls at the high end. I don't have a sound clip, but a lot of the guys here have heard it before.. I'll see if maybe Seth can get a sound clip for me cuz I dunno how to upload that..

those wheels are very nice i've had mine (konig unknowns) on for about 3 weeks now....i will be posting pics shortly as my car is still being modified. What kind of balacncer did they use for the rims and tires...on mine they did the road force balancer. Worked very well has no vibes at all
