Technically, the rockers do flow along with the bumpers and rocker panels. So you -could- consider it a widebody kit. If you look at the vertical shots of the car, the overall look is definitely wider than stock.

Just because the bumpers, fenders, rockers and wheels arn't obnoxiously extended out with gobs of plastic, doesn't mean thats the only definition of widebody.

In Japan I believe there is no such thing as Acura. Anything Acura is Honda overseas, right??

I'm not exactly sure if they do have an Acura division or not. Someone posted a picture of the Lexus dealership in Japan a week ago. But then I always thought that the U.S. had Lexus and they had Toyota (ie. Lexus is300 and Toyota Altezza300 same car)

Japan JUST started carrying Lexus.....it was originated for the US to capitalize on the growing US market for luxury cars. The NSX in Japan is under the name Honda too....the Honda NSX. Acura was meant to follow rumors of Toyota opening up shop in the US.....however sucess was limited since Toyota saw that Americans want V8's and Acura thought that a V6 was a better match for a larger luxur car. Know your market I guess.

As 2003SCT explained, Toyota is now rolling out the Lexus Brand globally. Nissan is doing the same thing with Infiniti. Honda, however, has not followed this plan. Acuras here are under the Honda brand in the rest of the world.

that car actually looks like the RL with a body kit
this is called the Mugen Legend Max concept
it will have a 500 horsepower 4.0 Liter V8 with 383 pounds of torque
