New Rims for the 04 GP

thought id post up pics for my grand am buddies....

Got Botlfed's Chrome Eagle 077's, with 255 Wide Rubber... Really just makes the stance dead sexy. Im just now being able to control my boners around it. And ive noticed that some women seem to instantly orgasm when they look at the car (might be because of me though too, either is likely).

I think the view from the rear (of the car) best shows off the new stance...

few suggestions:

paint them calipers, I take it yours isn't a comp G?
springtech lowering springs (same as 97-03) would do wonders for wheel gap.
the PFYC front air dam looks great, have you considered the spoiler too?

funny I don't think i've seen 077's on a 04 until now. everyone puts the 077's on the 97-03 and the Evo5's on the 04+ (GXP showcar look-alike wheels)

I disagree here. I don't think those rims belong on the 04+ GP. The body is a little too bulky for it.

^ i agree. Maybe it's just because the car is not dropped, but it just seems too big n bulky. nice to see the modding didnt stop for ya though.

This car is definitely NOT getting dropped. A: The airdam hits things as is, and B: I pay taxes for guys in orange trucks to plow the roads, i dont need to be doing it.

As far as a spoiler, i think the inferno spoiler is way to "in your face" for my taste. I got the SPO spoiler, which is just a slightly raised stock spoiler basically. I dig it.

Car looks very nice. Better than the barf bag fusion orange I constantly have to look at. However, since you aren't going to lower it you are unfortunately now the "MikeNT" of Grand Prix's. 2 silver 4x4'ing brothers!!

I think i just learned a lesson from the last car, which is still sitting around trying to be sold... The aftermarket goodies just kill its resale and scare off buyers. That, and i kinda like the smooth ride (makes me feel old or something).

And if i were to lower it, id need new tires. The rear tires rub if ive got any fat people in the backseat and i hit a big bump/pothole. When they get ready for replacing i think ill go with 245's rather than 255's.

I told Botlfed after he got them he bought tires that were too damn big!! Crype, I have 275's on my 10" rims, and they fit the full width evenly!!!

The 04s are a little crazy, the left rear did touch. But, the right rear did not......
It was fixed on my car after rolling the fender lip.
I would have gotten a 245/45 had they made it in the brand of tire I wanted to purchase.

Dave, the wheels look good. I don't plan on lowering mine either, the ride quality is> lowered look
