Very nicely done, I never thought I'd see the day where Volvos look better than BMWs! Hopefully it will get the XC90's new V8.

Nice car but I think volvo needs a different design for their cars.

was there already a thread about this car? it looks familiar. anyway, it reminds me a lot of the TC. the sides kind of remind of the TL. i like it.

is it just me or are all the smallish luxury cars blending together too much?

It's not just you. This is the most non-distinct looking Volvo I have ever seen. It looks less cookie cutter than Lexus and Infinity etc... but it looks like a Volvo trying to conform to the same typical sedan shape.

That said it is still a very nice looking car!

Too much front overhang. Even though AWD will be an option, this big sedan should move away from FWD and to a RWD platform. The front wheels are pushed back because of this giving it a heavy looking nose.

^ I agree with you on the overhang, remember it's a Ford so RWD won't happen anytime soon.

Very, very nice. I'm still not real big on the Volvo tail lights, but otherwise, sweet.

Hmm, it appears I never posted interior photos of the S80. I'll correct that...

I'd love to take that center stack apart and see how they attach it to the rest of the IP, especially around the cd changer slot. This car is a huge step forward from the last model, but I don't see it stealing many sales away from the Germans.

the interiors on volvo's are sick. The seats are so damn comfortable and i just love the setup, you gotta drive one for a few days to understand... it's hard to go to another car
