Couple New Pics

Far Away Shot

Close up on the amps

Close up on the sub

Close up on the line driver.

The only thing really that is new is the line driver, the fan, and i also angled the sub differently. Enjoy...

You should flip the sub so it faces backwards.

Well im not lookin for bass in my 6x9's im looking for a louder clearer sound to come from my 6x9's. Since the headunit only runs 25watts RMS to the speakers and when they are capable of running 50watts RMS, im going to run the full 50watts to them. And when you have a L7 sittin in the trunk you need your rear speakers to be louder or else the sub will drown them out.

Heres an update on the box i made, just carpeted her today, couldnt find gray so i just used black instead. All i have to do now is screw the sub into place and clean the box off and its ready to go.

Its ported by the way.

Amps do more then just provide sound for lows. They allow for more clarity depending on the AMP.

Heres a pic of the new box and my bass controller. I went from a sealed box to a slotted box, and wow it rattles my trunk horribly. I couldnt believe it. I noticed with a slotted box you lose some of that tight deeper bass but overall the slotted puts out alot more bass, im pleased with the way it turned out.

On another note that sub box was a pain in my ass to put in. I tested to see if it would fit in there before i carpeted it and it did just barely. So i carpet it and put the sub in it and go to put it in and the sub was just enough to where it wouldnt fit. So i had to take the sub out and put the box in first, then put the sub in when the box was in the trunk. What a pain ill tell ya!

Ive noticed with audiobahn amps they tend to overheat easy because i get all that chrome heats up so what i did to prevent that was take a small block of wood, put it on the backside on the amp remounted the amp back on the board. Now there is a gap between the amp and the board. Then i bought a Stinger 12 volt fan and mounted above the amp. Now the air blows on the backside of the amp. Hasnt cut out since. So if anyone has an amp that gets hot try that.

Theres a pic at the top.
