Must be a wierd question, but why would you wrap carbon fiber around a fiberglass/polyurethene/whatever body piece?

I dont know how you would "wrap" carbon fiber as I have no experience with it, but I thought you had to use a mold... Also the whole idea of carbon fiber is weight reduction so wrapping it around something doesn't do a whole lot, therefore, it seems like a r!cey idea to me, but what do I know.

I would assume for looks. Period. You can lay carbon fiber/fiberglass over anything you want. As for dipping it in the water transfer stuff, I'd say forget it. Water transfer CF looks good and all but it definitely won't match actual carbon fiber stuff.

I want it for the look i have no expectations of ever making my ride fast it it slow and to much of a hassle, i found a company here in vegas that can wrap or mold any thing in carbon fiber, even a door if i wanted them to, the only hting is it would be without the lightness, but cheaper then getting it painted, plus the Plus carbon is really has some fiberglass in it i know some of the under side of my hood is fiberglass, its all for show and no go!!! at all! i just don't feel like droping $700 when i'm gonna destroy it woth carbon fiber. He also is going to do my dash, console, and interior doors. So thank you

P.S. I don't know why i would want to race my ga, its slow....Turbo=4,000
Supercharger=5,000-7,000

Race ready ga's in vegas = 1
Show ready ga's in vegas = 0

yes exactly the only thing is you will not have the light weight like carbon fiber, which i don't care because i'm not going to be racing, hey sik if you wnta to get your roof and doors done there is a guy in town said he could wrap them if your not worried about weight, plus he could shave the handels at the same time. He's going to mold my sc/t kit if i ever get on and sell them in CF, on the side!

Why would I want them to wrap my doors in CF when I could have an actual CF door?
