Atlanta looks like it has a strong team this season... Just wish my Eagles would pick up the pace some more and have a 4th qtr. comeback!

Vick is looking good...
TO is doing alright, nothing fancy

Pre-game brawl was nice...

terrible game, sloppy, poorly played. atl would have it in the bag if they would stop getting penalties on all their first downs

my fantasy football week 1 comes down to this game so go falcons... other than that i dont care who wins

i think i dislike dawkins more than TO.

mcnabb missed too many passes. meanwhile hall covered TO pretty well. the other WRs have to get open, cant just be TO and westbrook all game.

Mcnabb blew tonight as usual.. Falcons played great all around especially containing westbrook. Good game except for the sloppy eagles playing

westbrook tore it up a bit but i cant stand the eagles. I think they both played crappy all together. after watchin my G men last night i think we could take both eagles n falcons wen the time comes. Sports analyst says teh giants are prime to take the division. its gonna be tough but we can do it...

well he didnt tear it up im sorry he had a few breakout runs is wat i was talkin about...he also had a few catches, he had about 120total yrds..not shabby they still lost..

edit: and he also had their only touchdown...

I love it! Way to go Falcons.
I used to like the Eagles as far as NFC teams go since I'm an AFC fan. But it's so hard to live in this area and hear Eagles this and Eagles that week in and week out. It gets so old.

Same Eagle team as last year, good thing they aren't in the AFC or they wouldn't even make the playoffs.

McNabb showed exactly why I think he is one of the most overrated QBs in the league. Get him a bit rattled and he goes to sh1t. I also liked in the game when they were talking about him and his composure and they said his slogan is "Never let them see you sweat"

Yeah right, that's why he was barfing on the field in the Super Bowl, and barfing a couple years ago in the NFC Championship game. I'm so tired of the media sucking certain teams d1cks (Eagles, Steelers, Pats, Cowboys, Ravens).

And also, Eagles showed their weakness that no big time back = no big time team. Eagles need a back who can run the rock 20-25 times a game between the tackles. Lamar Gordon blows, Miami just cut him, but he can run that way more than Westbrook. Why not just make Westbrook a focking WR???

Vick....I think his passing has gotten worse in the last 2 years. He looked terrible. Great arm strength, but his accuracy sucks. Atlanta still has sh1t for WRs.

Eagles get to 1-1 next week when they play San Fran. If they don't, there are definitely problems. Giants didn't look great considering the score, Cowboys could be good, and Wash. is going to be a clusterfock again...so Philly wins the division again by default.

don't be so quick to trashtalk the skins...wait five games then see where they're at...our defense rocks, portis is portis ( after one year in our system ), patten and moss are outstanding receivers, cooley is coming up as a tightend, and our o-line is is stable once again with jansen healthy ( even with 2 broken thumbs)...only concerns are our kicker hall going down and whether or not brunell can forget about last year and start over...and Ray-Ray has earned the right to run his mouth, even though they lost to the colts he amps himself up ALMOST as much as he fires up his team...i'd go to battle with him and his mouth any day of the week

I am a long time U of Miami fan and remember Ray when he was in college. However, I am sick and tired of turning on CBS or NFL Ntwork and listening to Ray Lewis's God damn mouth. Yeah, we know Ray, you have a big mouth, ego, and have ben known to play a damn good MLB position...still doesn't mean we need to see you all over the place, especially when your play is going down.

Jerry **** is the best WR ever...and I couldn't bare to watch or listen to him play the last 2 years either. He held on way too damn long. Ray isn't there yet, but if no one wants to listen to the best player of all time who wants to listen to Ray besides the homer fans.

The Redskins with Brunell are going to be just like Miami the last 5 years. Good defense that will have to carry them. If you can score more than 17 on Washington, you have a guaranteed win, because their offense is terrible.

remember, much like all the other major sports, the NFL is as much about the players as it is about the games, and Ray is a character...and he's onlt thirty, so if that's over the hill then there ain't no hope for me or you either

Yeah, I know they do it down there too, I have an unlce in Catonsville. They do that sh!t all over the league in any sport though. But since I don't have to hear it day in, day out it doesn't bother me. I've lost all respect for the Phils/Eagles/76ers, only reason I remain a Flyers fan is b/c hockey is the only sport I actually care about anymore.

The defense for Balt is definitely in decline and has been since they won the Super Bowl, and the offense, well they've never HAD an offense. I think Billick is a good coach and I though Fossel (sp) would really help coaching the QBs, but something needs to change. They need a major shake up. Boller wouldn't even be a #2 QB anywhere else in the league and the rest of their QBs are just as laughable.
Oh well, I don't mind if they go 0-16, I stick by my teams no matter what. (I still admit to liking the O's too

) I'm not the type of sports fan to only speak up when my team is on top. *shrug*
