WTB: Spoilerless trunk

Anyone happen to have an SE that they'd like to see have a GT spoiler? Preferably black so that I don't have to have it painted. Just guaging how possible this would be because it seems like most people here have spoilers.

They're impossible to come by. I've been looking for a couple weeks now.

You guys need to hit up GAOC. Many more SE's there and those are the only GA's that did not get spoilers. Almost all SE's got them too but a few did not. Like mine, but sorry it's blue. I had posted about trading but I was getting like, "I'll trade you if you throw in 100 dollars." So it's still on the SE. But I might be temped if I do not find an SC/T spoiler first. haha.

Dude, you have no idea how frustrating it is. It's amazing how nobody has them, but I see them around town all the time. I was sitting next to one without a spoiler today at a light, and I really wished I had asked her to trade. She prolly would have pepper sprayed me and sped off though....but I feel your pain. I'm gonna hit up junkyards soon, and if I find anything, I'll let you know.

Yeah man, I mean how much trouble would it be to have the spoiler removed and have the holes filled by a body shop or is that a sore topic?

it'd be more than just trading someone (or a junkyard) for free. I'm sure it'd be somewhere around $200 depending on the shop. You'd have to re-paint the whole trunk, and have the holes filled.

i have an extra trunk lid. i used to have a racing wing on it, but then decided to go back to stock with sct spoiler. so i have an extra white trunk lid that has four small holes in it from the previously existing wing

Is your car solid red with no spoiler at all? If so, we're trading. I'll change the locks, everything. My spoiler already has the stock spoiler removed with bolts in the holes. All you'd have to do is get an sc/t spoiler and put it on (the hardest part about getting an SC/T spoiler is taking off the old spoiler). Watch schram's on ebay they occasionaly have red ones for about 100 bucks. Then you'd be good. In the mean time, you can bolt up my stock spoiler (not SC/T and I'll throw it in). As for the antenna, it was an issue on the prototype SC/T spoilers but not the production sc/t spoilers. The prototypes were mounted with metal, while the production ones were all soilid plastic. If you want the normal production SC/T spoiler, you're all set. Let me know if you're down with a swap!

I think I'm just going to wait and get the holes filled in on my own trunk and just go with that. Any problems with leaking that anyone knows of? Once the spoiler is taken off and the holes are filled that is...
