More random small mods

I had the 6-way power seat track from my old drivers seat, so I decided to make the passanger power also, came out pretty good.

I aslo mounted my 6 disc changer that came with my DVD nav in the glove box.

If im not mistaken thats the nav from a vibe? and the seats look like custom white leather to me...and he also said his old stock seats no? If i am right then yea its a direct fit and almost plug and play...someone else on the boards here posted that they got a nav system out of a vibe a few monthes back, said he bought it from the junkyard and was almost plug n play. He was teh same guy that also got a new rearview mirror, the one with the temp and direction in it. thats cool as hell too..

What did just the nav install consist of?? (Power/Keeping stock features (CD/Chime)

After reading more I found this.. Vibes offer the nav system for $1,600, but you don’t get the CD changer, just a single CD unit. Because the nav system is CD-based, you can’t play music CDs and use the nav at the same time.

How did you rig the changer to work with Nav on???

Nice Mod.

Mine came out of an 03, As far as I knew when you got the dvd navigation, you also got the 6-disc changer, http://web.archive.org/web/200304150...s_interior.jsp
And because I use the 6-disc changer to play cd's, I can use the main cd/dvd drive for the dvd map disc, and listen to music at the same time

As far as chimes and such go, they all work fine, even the voice guidance. it was plug and play (same connector)

Does the DVD player have a security lock feature on it? Or can you drive and watch a DVD without having to ground a wire out? I might be planning on taking a trip to my salvage yard soon, that looks super trick.

The trick to junk yards is you write down what it is you exactly are lookin for along with your name and number. Then go to every yard in your area and give them that info, tell them you will buy it imediately when it comes in. Sooner or later they will call. It could take 1 day or it could take a year.

he has asserted his dominance over competing males with the loud masculine sound form his exaust system, Females searching for a potential mate will be driven away by weaker exaust systems and attracted to his SLP.
