Finally Tinted my Windows

as the title states, tinted my windows yesterday, 5% every window(except windsheild)...cost me 175 and gave the guy 15dollars tip so 190..which is 100$ or more cheaper than other places i went. The tint stuck to the dot matrix in the back perfectly...it still needs a few days to dry so theres streaks and bubbles n all that...but heres some pics...LETS NOT FOCUS ON THE FACT THAT A) my front ribs are off B) my cars dirty C) theres crap all over my passenger side door..thank you

Looks good man... I paid 200 for mine 5% on back 3 and brow, 20% on front 2... is 5% legal all the way around where you're from?

Too dark for me. I think that % looks good on a benz or some other expensive car.

no anything on the front 2 windows is illegal here but i said F it. i cant just get the bakc done, and it if i get the back 5% the rest 15 it wud look dumb, then i said if i get it all 15% it wudnt be worth it cuz ticket is 45$ wheather its 5% or 2.5 or 35...

I feel bad for it, with the missing ribs, dirty-ness, and what's with the pin stripe on one side but not the other?!

yea man im in quite a bind atm...Pinstripe i could do in 10min if i wanted. I have this apoxy on my car that doesnt come off. im gonna have to sand it off..ive tryed eveyrting...besides that i cant find 3m dbl sided AUTOMOTIVE tape anywhere near me. im gonna have to have a body shop do them or something.. besides that all i nee to do is paint the bumper...n it will be good again. i just spend 2g's getting everything mechanically fixed with it ...tires windsheild UIM/LIM leak ect ect...thanks tho

It definately looks good (the 5% Limo tint).

graxall: How is it to drive at night ?

I can't imagine looking out my side window & only seeing like almost 5% of the visible light coming through.
& it must be a pain to back-up.

I tihink I want Limo tint next time (in the future on another/new vehicle) on the rear windows.
My 20% tint on the rear is not enough.

well its what ive heard, someone i know got 2 pts. from it. my buddy is a cop, i will ask him next time i talk to him. u said u got a fix it ticket, did u fix it?

I thought you got a fix it ticket, then if you failed to fix it, they gave you 2 pts and a retarted fine, but i could be wrong.

nascarnate: thats exactly what i thought too. this guy a couple years back told me if i ever got a ticket for tint to take it off cause he learned the hard way and he got 2points. he drove a newer beefed up mustang gt and his brother drives an escalade with spinning rims so i think they must know something about cars

. but im going to check it out. maybe the cop was just out to get him and gave him a ticket for something else..but who knows.

YOU WILL NOT GET POINTS FOR A FIX IT TICKET IN MICHIGAN.
Ive been through this with my tint. If ya dont remove it ya get a fine.....thats it.....nothing more.
