SEMA G6's

Pontiac ’s roomy new 2006 G6 coupe already has the looks and performance of a competition-inspired machine, so it doesn’t take much to boost the excitement factor. GM Performance Division built the G6 Performance Coupe to showcase how wild the 2+2 coupe could be with replacement body parts. Those parts include new front and rear fascias, new rocker panels and a large rear deck wing. Forgeline 19-inch wheels and racing-inspired Wilwood brakes complete the functional/stylistic additions.

Vehicle Highlights:

270-hp 3.9L V-6
6-speed manual transmission
New front/rear fascias and rocker panels
Body kit
New hood with scoops
Large rear deck wing
19-inch Forgeline wheels
Wilwood disc brakes
Driving lights
Leather-trimmed interior with contrasting stitching, including instrument panel, insert panels and rear quarter panels
Painted console trim bezels
Special door sill plates
Performance exhaust tips

Pontiac’s G6 midsize sedan is the foundation of the highly versatile G6 family of vehicles. This solid, responsive sedan suits the driver who enjoys time behind the wheel – even if it means making a school drop-off run. G6’s smart design provides optimum space, outstanding handling and handsome looks. By adding Pontiac accessories, that distinctive styling was taken a step further with this showcase of available and concept parts. Bold two-tone blue graphics over Sterling Silver paint emphasize the G6 sedan’s sleek shape. Authentic Pontiac Accessories featured on this G6 can be purchased at all Pontiac dealerships.

I was just looking at these pics on the GTO forums. The coupe appears to be G35 inspired, but it still needs some work. The grilles are exaggerated and I can guarantee the front won't sit that low.

EDIT: The G6 Roush is sick. If they can make it run with the Evo's and STI's, I bet it will sell big time.

That first one's body kit/hood is HOT. H-O-T-T I love the deepened front grills. The wing is ridiculous, but that rear fascia. . .

Almost (almost) makes me like the g6.

the openings on the first one are assinine, i can't beleive someone told them that those huge gaping holes look good. they dont look that good on the gxp, and they definitely dont belong on the g6

I'll just take the engine and brake upgrades, leave all the plastic add ons and wings for someone else. Not too fond of the wheels on any of them.

It just doesn't work at all. None of them. It barely pulls off the aggressive look. The Roush does a better job at looking decent though. But i'm not blown away by the look in the least. And that coupe is disgusting.

I think the Roush G6 looks the best. Throw some side pipes in the side mouldings and you have a HOT ride. One observation, the motor was detuned. I was hearing it was in the 280-290 hp range.
