The powerful C6 Z06 *VIDS*

This one is stock running a 11.7 at the track. With a better launch and shifting, I bet he could've shaved a few more tenths off.

Ok, so you have a plain c5 or c6 (I can't tell from the back) and you're essentially comparing it to Ford's ~$150K car? Scared to see what a new Z06 at under half the price of a GT and naturally aspriated would do to Ford's "Super car" that had to be supercharged to get any decent power?

I also fail to see how the Vette "wimped out." By not being a spaz and setting there revving his engine? What is he supposed to do? Get on it in the middle of the campus with all the people walking around and a vehicle in front of him?

i think the guy was revving for his own benefit... too many people were looking at teh sickness that is the corvette and taking all the attention away from Mr. Ford.

I was gonna say, I'm no track master but that launch left much to be desired. That Z06 sounds awesome though. He must have slp and a cai on that mu-ffug.

The Ford GT is the a POS and waste of development numbers. I'd be embarassed if I was Ford.

It was a c6, one of GM's personal collection driven by a GM employee who developed the car (likewise for the ford). My point was that this guy was so hessitant to rev his engine, compared to the GT driver.

Which one's faster? I dont care! I wasnt even talking about that.
