I'm not impressed. It looks ok in the front, but the sides and rear are bland. Interior isn't as great as people were saying it would be. The design is nice, but the materials don't look up to Mercedes/Audi/BMW/ levels. And that column shifter ruins the appearance. This is just a luke warm vehicle. Not as exciting as the outgoing model.

I agree 100%. That column shifter is awful.

The think the re-designed Tahoe looks the best out of all of them. I don't really like the design of this Escalade. But don't worry, it will sell.

fender strakes look like dookie, don't belong on a focking SUV. Is it me, or do they keep making the damn front grill taller...and TALLER....and TALLER? Also, sorry, but you can't put bigger rims/smaller tires on a luxury SUV because it is the thing to do now...and still keep 44" OF FOCKING WHEEL GAP! Not to mention look how skinny the tires are.

I am being brutally honest and serious here: To anyone readin this in the automotive engineering world, DO YOU HAVE A CLUE about cultural/societal trends in aftermarket, and how to logically put them on a manufactured vehicle?? Obviously not since you fail to realize bigger wheels + smaller tires SHOULD = lower suspension and better handling with wider tires. Not still keeping "off-road suspension"

The large wheel gap is so rappers can fit 40" rims on that thing

Its not bad looks too much like a ford expedition from the a-pillar back, and that thing in the front fenders HAS to go its not a BMW escalade

I kind of like the fender vent, makes it different then the other GMT 800's, The rear is not different enough though. Column shift- would not even consider buiying just because of that. This is an upscale SUV, not a work truck! Put the damn XM/navi/OnStar antenna in the middle of the car too, not offset!

Yeah, I'm sure GM is going broke becauses of dumb stuff like that

You'd rather drive a Trailblazer SS, yet you are going to complain about LOW PROFILE TIRES, AN OFF CENTER XM ANTENNA, CHEAP DASH, UGLY STEERING WHEEL DESIGN?????

All of these can be found on the TB SS as well. Don't get me wrong, I love the SS and I would be really happy to have one. But don't complain about problems that are universal throughout the entire brand. And when you get to things like an OFF CENTER XM antenna... who really fockin cares? Besides, if it were in the middle, it would prob. look worse anyways.. Unicorn like.

And for the record.. It's COBALT. WTF is s COBOLT?
