1-9-2005 NAIAS show is where this concept is to be debued, the name "Camaro" is still up for debate. It'll be on the Sigma-Light platform.

Eh I like it, but I'm not as excited as I though I'd be over a new Camaro.
I'd definetly take the last gen Firebird over this.
However, depending on price, I'd take this, if it's in the $26k range, higher than that and I'd have to decide GTO/Camaro.
Coming out in '09, I'll have been in the 'real' world for a year hopefull with a decent job, and looking for a new vehicle.

I've been hearing both, which is why I said it was still up for debate, I've heard Chevelle, Camaro and that it'll have a new name, as well. Only a month to wait and see!

im pretty sure that someone took the chevelle pic and just photoshoped it. look at the front bumper, looks all messed up. i still dont think gm will bring the maro back

I don't know, I kinda like it. Rear needs some work, but the front i'm lovin'. We'll see how this ends up.

It will look nothing like this once it hits production. Does anyone remember what the concept charger looked like? Very similar to this and look what Dodge threw up as a result. Dont hold your breath.

GM owned by an insider leaking these photos

...I dunno its a step in the right direction but do they not have any originality it looks too much like a charger you dont have to bring back every muscle car looking retro

I am pleasantly surprised by how good this car looks, they blended just enough retro in. The rear looks great. I realy hope it doesn't get its balls taken away in the progression from concept to reality. Not sure how door handles and real mirrors are going to look. I bet the interior will change a lot. I really don't give a crap what they call it if they can get the 5.3 with 310 HP for 25 grand. If they can do an LS2 for under 30 they will have a great value. The GTO will definately have to move upmarket. I like it more than the Mustang, It would be a shame to not give this the green light.

I thought "Charger" as well when I saw it. Too bad GM can't get an "A" for originality. If they wanted to be truely original they would bring back the actual old body style.

That would be great, unfortunately we're talking about GM here so it'll likely start at $30k for a V6 version.
