Windshield Wipers
Just wondering what you guys think about wipers. like who you like the best. some of might think this isnt a topic for this thread, but if your windshield looks like crap, then the rest of you car probably does too. anyways i like smart blades. i dont really care for piaa or bosch. i am one of those people that if there is anything on my windshield i go insane. anyone else like that? so a good windshield wiper is very important too me.

I currently use 'Teflon Blades':
Teflon® Blade Winter Teflon® Blade Might try next summer: Trico Innovision™ wipers (similar to what they are using on the G6.)

I use the cheap $6 metal ones. I've never had any problems with them and they work just fine. Had 'em on about 18 months and they're just starting to deteriorate now.

cant remember what brand i have on now, but ive found that using RainX in combo with any blade makes it perform much better in the rain. visibility shoots through the roof with that stuff on, and the wipers get more rain off (no more blur) than usual.

thats funny. i really hated my piaa's i had. they would not give a good streak and if something like a bug got on the windshield then it would smear it all over the place. i like bosch, but they dont last very long. i have never tried the michelins, but the rain-x i have put on my girlfriends car (my lab rat when it comes to this stuff) and they seem to work fine.
also i hate blades that smear. oh i hate that. so if a blade smears, its gone as fast as i put it on. and once a blade starts to smear its gone. generally about 3 months. i have a smart blade on the drivers side and a bosch, whatever the "best" one is on the passengers side. after about a month the bosch is starting to smear. and right in the middle too. i have had the smart blade on for about 2 months and it still works like new. its starting to put a haze on the windshield, but not too bad.

bah, everybody has to be like rainx...heh, i seriously swear by the stuff tho. rainx is especially nice since your blades dont hit all of the windshield, it will make the water bead up and run off the windshield everywhere else thus improving visibility even more.

clean the windshield really well, wipe some on with a cotton towel and go for a drive in the rain, it should do the trick unless a monsoon hits you.
