WTT Grand Am SLP Exhaust

I have a Grand Am SLP Exhaust for the newer body GA's.

This exhaust is currently on a 2001 car, I would be willing to trade for a factory exhaust installed. You can trade me your exhaust and just pay to have it put on. It is in near perfect condition maybe 20,000 miles on it.

I live near Wauconda Crystal lake area.

The Exhaust sounds real good!

this could be a possibility, let me check the distance from where im at.

edit: uhh, put me down as a very high possibility. i gotta check my work schedule to see if i have time to do this. do you have the equipment for the swap or a place that will do it? how much would i be looking at paying if we have a place up there do the swap?

The exhaust I would like would be from a SE.

^you could get away with GT exhaust. check dr. fabulousssss car. thats what he has.

I would like to go back to stock to keep the noise down. We have a new dog and she doesnt like the loud exhaust.

straight up trade for a stock exhaust and I would just have to pay for the installation for you? I have an SE muffler too and live in central Illinois (Peoria). Would it include the WHOLE system (hangars, cat-back tubing, etc.)

the stock gt exhaust isnt loud at all. im sure one of the chicago people with one could show you. at idle it sounds like any other car on the road, and even at hard acceleration its not that loud at all.

The stock exhaust has to be in good condition, no rust. Everything is complete it is installed on the car and can be heard if you would like. Is your se exhaust used?

It is indeed used, its from an 04 though. I bought the car in April and had the stock exhaust off in May (I have a Flowmaster 80) on right now. No rust, holes or anything, definately in excellent condition. It should be in my attic, I just have to make sure my dad didn't throw it away, which I'm pretty sure he didnt. I have brothers in the Chicago area, so its no problem to drive up to you. Do you have pics of the SLP by chance.

I just want to see the shape of it. With 20K miles, its probably 2 years old. You would also need my cat-back tubing, so that means we would have to do the install at the same time/same place. I just thought of that. I'm off in like 2 hrs., so I'll go home and double check if I still have the SE muffler in my attic.

IM SO ****ED, sorry...but my dad said he threw it out like a month ago. So I guess I cant do this deal, and I'm sure you dont want my Flowmaster because its just as loud. Thanks again for the opportunity and good luck selling it.

Stock GT exhaust isn't loud at all. It's not a whole lot louder than SE's. Plus, the dual dual polished tips look way better than the SE muffler. I wouldn't limit yourself to just an SE set-up. (boost for AJ)

I am sorry I didnt read your PM. I would have like a se exhaust but might settle for a GT instead.

I called midas and they think it might take about an hour to do the whole swap about 65 bucks or so I would budget around 100 just in case.
