WTB: Warbird Hood or scoops

like the topic said.. i am lookin for a warbird hood or hood scoops that i can have fabricated onto my existing hood by a bodyshop

I would prefer a painted black hood if someone has one and would trade my stock + extra bling for one..

also I am still looking for a pewter colored 3 guages pod.. not a 2 guage pod .. only a 3 guage one..

USExotics is who used to make the hoods, but he stopped. He's doing exclusively Viper parts now. He had let a friend of his use his molds to make/sell some on eBay, but that friend has since stopped. AFAIK there were only 12 full hoods made between him and his friend. He also stopped making the scoops, said the shipping was too much on them, don't think he even has the molds for them anymore.
You might try emailing him and seeing if he'd be able to make one for you, uSExoticsLTD@aol.com.

kick ass .. thanx man,.. ya i remember seein them on ebay.. i shoulda bought the scoops then.. at that point i was still contemplating what would end up being the less stress and hassle buyin the complete hood or the scoops and making one

the scoops look weird on there? or is it just me.. doesnt look as good as others i have seen.. unless it is just cause its silver i dunno.. i have a pic of a couple different GA's with warbird scoops and they dont look the same on the front part of the scoops

like ok look at this first pic i have.. then the 2nd is the one the guys is selling.. they arent the same at all

eh, i dont know about him, but i personally just want to get a quote on what the scoops alone, not an entire hood, would run me and find out who makes them to keep in mind for a future project.

Ooo ok. Wasnt aware you were after it too. Havent seen the scoops goin around lately. Im sure something will turn up esp if youre not in a rush.

yeh its one of those hopeful projects if i have the time and can scrape the money together, which basically means it would be a summer project if i found the parts.

well ya i saw the scoops on ebay for like 80 bucks a while back.. i have a black hood so i would trade mine for a black warbird hood and 250-350 bucks cash liekly if someone had one.. or just buy the scoops and get my hood painted again

If you plan on making it functional...the process wont come too cheap. If you plan on just sticking the scoops on there, then I dont know. Good luck.

that 2nd one looks alot nicer.. plus it is finished with the mesh also. and no i dont want it functional since i have a CAI already anyways
