FS: ASE PCM (like the DHP)

So I just sold my GA and the only thing I have left is the ASE PCM. It's for a '99 GT; and this is the entire PCM, you will just have to take it to a dealer and have them program your VIN into it.

It does all the same stuff as the DHP with the exception of running the fans after you turn the car off. This was the first PCM upgrade and a lot of us guys who have been around for a while will know about it.

Asking $150 + shipping

If you have any questions shoot me let me know.

I don't know. I've heard '99 and '00 are cross compatible, but something might have changed in '01.

a 00+ car using this pcm would run 8.4% lean due to the difference in injectors. i would only recommend using this pcm in a '99.

It advances engine timing to increase HP (you must use 93 octane)

Removes the shift skips (like 2nd to 4th)

Raises the shift points 500 rpm

Removes the speed limiter

Increase transmission line pressure to make shifts firmer and faster

If it helps, it's the only mod I ended up leaving on my car after an extended period of time.

sounds complex and worrysome for someone who doesn't know anything about engines like me.

Nah, it's not really that complex, if I didn't have other plans (and an SE), I'd be interested in this. I'd buy it if I were you, it's a good price. You'll be glad you did.

PCM is complex?
Put it in, fill up with 91+ octane and drive your car, thats not to complex

Only issue u might have is doing a Case-Relearn however very few have that issue, and a dealer can fix that for u

91 is plus, or mid-range. 93-94 is premium

well, with the performance pcm you're probably going to drive like a crazy man for a bit to enjoy the upgrade, so probably a 'take away' on the old gas mileage.
