94 firebird formula

a guy local is selling one for 1k bucks it has 125k on it red in color

the good
5.7 v8 all power with leather decent shape overall for a 94

the bad
it has a dent in the quarter panel and a small crack on the door
needs a window motor and console lid and battery
rotors and pads

u guys think its worth it?
and also anyone have an idea of how much it cost to fix a quarter panel?

$1k for a '94 Formy with 125k on the clock is a great deal, but to get all that stuff repaired right might cost you more than finding one that hasn't been wrecked, just my .02

Plus, if you do your own work, the LT1 is a pain in the ass to work on in an f-body.

Plugs on my hawk are much easier than any LT1 I've done. LT1's have the optisuck ignition too which they conveniently mounted directly beneath the water pump.

it is a good deal, but you really need to research into how much it would cost to fix it up to where you would like it to be. good luck!

Sweet. Hope you enjoy. Agood friend of mine had a 95 Cam. 3:73's, Moroso CAI, gutted cat and flowmasters went 13.3. They have a ton of potential. He dyno'd a touch over 300 rwhp at UTI.

Cool, if you can get the bodywork done cheap then it's worth it. Just keep your fingers crossed on that Optispark.

LT1 sucks to work on. Try doing a tune up on that.

Good buy. Have fun with it even tho its hard to work on as far as space goes. The engine has huge potential so just have fun with it. Oh yeah is it a auto or manual? Its good your running it through inspection. Fix whats wrong then focus on the modding.

If the button is stock its probably a traction control of some type. But if it looks after market it could be a variety of things such as notrous or something.

the older TAs came from the factory with the performance button. A buddy of mine has one and it shifts much harder when engaged.
