The Return of Winter

I got nothing special to share, but I haven't been very active on the boards in a while and I just wanted to make a little return.

Here in Iowa we had some harsh winter early in the season, but since then its been pretty nice. Welp, today we are recieving what we were due for... its snowing like a bastad!

Anyway, I recently moved and I live with my Dad out in the country on a farm where I grew up. Its pretty cool having some peace, quiet, and fresh air (minus the occasional farm smell). Figured Id take a shot of the snow coming down with the barn in the background. I think that alone qualifies me as hick,

yea it got pretty cold here, i woke up to temps in the low 40's /sarcasm. for some reason i miss the snow and cold since i moved here. maybe its the lack of seasons.

That snow shot right there is the reason that my car is in a heated garage from August 20th to May 1st. Props to a real snow fall!

It's been in the 50's. 60's and even 70's here the past two months and we're supposed to get like a foot of snow today... We'll see about that. Forecasts are never right.

Oh, btw.. nice barn.

Anyway PA/NY/DE/NJ is supposed to get slammed today at 4, hugee snow storm. Would be the 2nd of the season. Kinda sucks im working up north right now 30min from my house and i get off at 6, hopefully it isnt too bad when i get out or i might have to kill everyone in this mall im at..

U got a dusting last night, That seem like all we have gotten all Month long. They still put the salt down like pea gravel.

sometimes i just wish it would snow here like that maybe once, i dont see how you guys can put up with it like that for that long, i never get it, it would be nice to have it sometimes, but not like what ya'll have, here we consider 50 or 60 cold, thats just insane, although like i said, would be nice to see every now and then

We got almost a foot, my dad and I went out in his F-150 and were messing around until 5AM this morning. It was a blast, he let me do all the driving. I'll post pics when I get a chance...and also the video of us hitting some snow drifts that covered the windshield, had to stop and clean it off.

/\/\ Now that's good old fashion country fun. I mean that as a compliment...seriously. I remember the days of field cars with no windows, a four banger with a stick shift and a large field to learn how to drive.....oh how I loved my friends house.
