man that looks really really good. everything except the alpines. j/k just a matter of opinion. anyways yeah it looks d*mn good, and clean. thats one thing i have been putting off forever, cleaning up my trunk wires.

Whats wrong with the Alpines? The new Alpines are rated as some of the best subwoofers out. Now the old Alpines, is probably what you are referring to. Ever see 1 10 inch sub do a 150 on a TL?

oh in that case no i have never seen a 10" do 150db on a tl. i stopped looking at alipne about a year ago when ever speaker i heard from 4x6 to a 12" sub lacked sound quality and sounded like crap. i stopped trying to find "good alpine" and decided that its all a bunch of hype.also if you want me to delete everything but the first sentance i will just ask. this is your thread and i dont want to be a **** and create a huge argument in here about alpine cause i am sure thats what this is going to do. thats why i wanted you to "let it go".

That looks real nice. Those are the same subs that were going to be in my trunk, but im takin a trip instead. Very clean.

i meant that everytime that someone says something bad about a brand as popular as alpine all hell generaly breaks loose. see what i am getting at. i dont want this to be more about defending alpine then talking abuot your trunk, which still looks really good. see what i mean. i think you misunderstood and thats cool to. i was just trying to look out for this thread.

Nevermind...I found a little info on it.

He hasn't done a 150...yet. It did a 149.3 MECA style in a single cab truck with a box SQUISHED behind the seat (basically cant drive it with the box like that).
"2 cubes, tuning.......ummmmm, no idea, peaks at 44 hz though

Wattage, ~700 RMS

I did meter it on the dash, i think it did a 146"

It's pretty impressive. That sub has got to be going through some tortue though...

. But thats what SPL comps are for.....sub torture.

He runs an RE for his daily driver.. but he loves his Type R... He has been throwing them into different TCAB boxes...

And yeah, I knew he threw a 149.3, but I could have sworn he hit the 150... Just think of what a 12 R could do. I have seen a dual Type R 12 setup do pretty good numbers.

Here's a pic of my set up, I have 2 of these, one on each side. I custom made them from fiberglass, tucked into the corners so I have a completly useable truck and pass through.
