Spring MGM 2006 - April 22nd

Didn't realize this was coming up so quickly. Spring MGM is just around the corner. The times I've gone have always been a blast. Who is planning on going? I know Brandon (botlfed) is going to be there, he never misses a track event.

To those who have never heard of or been, it's on of the more fun Grand Prix/Grand Am events.

We arrive April 22nd and race that afternoon and into the night. Afterwards most of the group stays at the only hotel in Edmore where the debauchery really begins and many munchy runs are made to the gas station.

If someone who knows where the link is, link up the early registration url for those who want cheaper entrance.

small update: Gates will open at 4 p.m. and racing 5 p.m. - 11 p.m.

MGM Information:
Mid-Michigan Motorplex, Stanton (Edmore), Michigan

April 22nd

$40 pre-registration for non-premium members
$35 pre-registration for premium members

$10 spectators (no pre-registration break)

Gates open at 4 p.m. racing 5 p.m. - 11 p.m.

MGM Hotel this time will be Super 8 in Ionia $64 plus tax for up to 4 people.

Hmmm... thats a saturday and it's right after I start back at work. I usually get out at 4:00 though so if the MGM is afternoon/night and not during the day then I may be able to drive up and hang out. I won't be racing though. Car still needs injectors/tuning.

Stanton MI. April 22nd. I think we get to the track about noonish-2pm. Stay the night at the hotel in Edmore (someone can chime in with a phone number and reservation details) and leave for home the next morning. The track is called Mid-Michigan Motorplex.

I think they usually have the info on MIGPC? right? I know I usually just email Fran and ask her to reserve me a room, that's what I did the last two times! YAY!!! MGM is always a really great time!

Yah, drive in to the middle of absolute nowhere for about 2 and a half hours, make a right when you see a gas station and a bunch of grand prixs.

you get to go to Meijer's when you are in the midwest! you love it!!!

but yeah it is kinda in the middle of no where. Small town with one stop light LOL but still fun times for sure!

Werd, what he said. I am suprised you didn't say, 2 and a half hours north northwest of Meijer

Its in the middle of no where, so it gives you a better excuse to be there to drink heavily!

I will be there, can't miss this, its like the 5th or 6th I have been to, can't keep track of it anymore.

We'll see... flights to Detroit are still too much so I gotta talk to Pat and see if he's racin.. I was gonna go somewhere WARM on those days too. Altho I could use some 7&7
