My car may be totalled.....

Yeah.

Last nite when I was driving down a windy back road out in the sticks of PA, there was really dense fog/slick roads, so I was following the double yellow line, the yellow line disappears, I realize I missed the 1 lane bridge I was supposed to go over, n instead, I was continuing staight, so I slammed on my brakes, they locked up, I tried to swerve to stay on the road, the car flew 20-30 ft off the road, over a 6ft river/ditch, n stopped head-on in a tree. Airbags deployed. I was fine. The smoke scared the hell outta me cuz I thought my car was gonna blow up..

The damage doesn't really look *THAT* bad, but becuz the car is old n the air bags went off, there's a good chance the car'll be totalled. Not sure if I want it totalled or not.. but yeah.

Insurance adjustor will be out in a few days, I guess, to give an estimate/make a decision.. IF the car is totalled, n I'm able to grab parts, is there anything that anybody wants? All of the damage is on the front end - bumper, hood, etc The fenders are fine, wheels.. I dunno about frame damage. Both tires still look aligned n whatnot. So, I'd have all stock interior parts, most exterior parts, GT tails AND SE tails, Borla exhaust, rear sway bar [never installed], front n rear STBs, Eibachs, RSM 62mm tb n manifold, Pacesetter header/downpipe.. doubt the CAI survived, but I'll see later.

I'll try n get some pics too.. but lemme know guys if there's anything anybody wants n I'll see what I can do.

Damn, sorry to hear. Good thing you are ok, could have turned out worse if the vehicle went into the stream, those can be randomly deep sometimes.

Damn...soooo you missed the bridge...and went into the ditch that the bridge was going over. That sucks. Glad to hear your okay.

Side note: i might be interesting in the rear sway bar dependin on which one it is. let me know.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Fog can be scary.

Glad to hear you're ok though! Good luck with the insurance company... they are sure to try and screw you. If they do total the car, make sure they reimburse you beyond the base value of the car for any aftermarket stuff on the front that might be damaged like the CAI (most insurance companies do cover a certain amount).
